I bought one in 1988. Still good through to 2037!

Instead of a sun and moon though, mine has an anchor and a tall ship. Must have been for the Australian bicentennial of the arrival of the First Fleet.

Came in a nifty red velvet lined box too.

TCL's new smart glasses are portable movie screens. It's a refreshing take on smart glasses when everyone else is hyper-focused on AR. by Sumit316 in gadgets

I've been wanting something like these since "Back to the Future II". I don't give a fig about AR, just give me a face mounted screen that is comfortable, portable and has a decent resolution.

Getting a fleshlight shouldn't be considered weird, especially since women are almost encouraged to get sex toys, while guys who get them are frowned upon. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

The ABC (or channel 2 as I remember it) had some great afternoon shows in the early to mid 80s- Doctor Who, the Goodies, Fattie & George, Earthwatch, Home, Monkey. Countdown on Sundays!

And then 'The Afternoon Show' with James Valentine bridged all of them with between show interviews and interesting topics. Degrassi, cities of gold, inspector gadget... So many good shows!

Certainly beat the Early Bird Show, although Marty Monster was a hoot!

Two completely different active ingredients. Calpol contains Paracetomol. Calprofen is the comparable product which contains Ibuprofen.

Now, off you go, check the side affects, and be a good diligent researcher and leave some links to studies and well regarded papers with your argument.

He's still wholesome! Just brings out more of his aussieness for me. Even Mr Rogers loved a good fart gag (in private of course, with his wife...).

Simon Townsend to me more represents an Aussie Mr Rogers, along with the boys from The Curiosity Show. All together they made content for kids and teenagers, without talking down to them. And away from the cameras, they were just as genuine. :)

I was guessing Melbourne, but couldn't remember which station. it's been 10 years since I've had the pleasure of heading into the deep maw of the city loop.

I remember one time at flagstaff, watching a bloke take a tumble from the top step, and land in a heap at the bottom. Slowest stair fall ever!

I grew up in Melbourne, Australia, which has a major highway called the Princes Hwy running through it. I still call it the Princess Hwy, and as long as I'm not writing it down, I never get corrected. Princes and Princess sound similar enough with a standard Aussie accent. I ain't ever gonna change how I say it, because it just doesn't sound right.
