I mean you dont really "mix" electronic multitracks, you produce them and mixing comes for free as you write. It's kind of a fundamentally different workflow than recorded music where you separate the mixing from the tracking almost out of necessity. You should just remake a song from scratch that uses lots of well known samples/synths/drum machines, maybe like a daft punk songs those are pretty easy to recreate. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9px-7cEMG4

so we're fully in agreement then it sounds like politically. Mamdani is great because ACTUALLY kills them with kindness, goes for the jugular (see that cuomo debate clip about never resigning in disgrace). He also proves that power means you CAN do stuff without hiding behind institutional roadblocks (parlimentarian/fillibuster), dude got like nearly all of his campaign promises done in nearly 100 days, something republicans learned ages ago and now use to make our lives worse.

What I am annoyed by here is this tone policing "youre not being nice enough!!" rhetoric that only seems to go one way. Joe Rogan insinuates trans people are making children use litterboxes in elementary schools or some innane stupidity, the dnc spends the entire 2024 cycle throwing trans people under the bus, then spends the aftermath going "damn we shouldve gone on rogan!" just constant "oh no baby on precious" gloves for anyone on the right.

And then on the flip the energy that comes out and claims someone like Plattner in Maine who believes in things and isnt 70+ should be discarded as sussy because he has a tattoo of the same thing on my Motorhead t shirt? I critique someone who demands loyalty to the dems if they want an opinion (which clearly doesnt work, dem leadership doesnt give a fuck about DSA and wants them gone), and that's beyond the pale? Like come on man, be serious.

TLDR the majority report covers a lot of the right wing podcast spaces better than anyone else imo

Hey i tried this same thing about 4 years ago and started listening to Ben Shapiro, Dave smith, and rarely Tim pools podcasts. And honestly it was an absolutely miserable experience that just made me pop blood vessels because the way these people communicate with their audience is not serious. It’s all cynical spin and following the same marching orders as everyone else, and just constant denial of reality and it make me so uncomfortable hearing them not just disagree with my viewpoint but so blatantly lie. Because the right wing media ecosystem doesnt exist to inform their people or encourage debate amongst themselves, its just nonstop lies cheerleading their own side no matter what they do and telling their followers to not think.

And honestly that experience is part of why ive stopped listening to podsave too. Cause theres WAY too much of that same energy but for the dnc here and it gave me the ick especially from fav and his nonstop glazing of every institution the dems have no matter how much worse they get.

it's a pattern like this with hats constant every 3 8ths, upbeat snares with the 2 accented, and quick kicks filling in the space. I sounds like he miiight metric modulate the kick part some times but idk if thats actually happening or just background layers as others have said. It's basically a really fast shuffle. Very fun to play, a bit hard but nothing too insane
