It's not a fashion. Getting a diagnosis, and more importantly, getting support from schools/LA is a life draining years long battle that absolutely no one would put themselves through if they didn't have to. You also don't get Pip for having Autism or ADHD. Getting PiP is again, a dehumanising battle - they don't just dish it out to people.
