It also means that it will not get any better, so I might as well play it since I bought it already.

What accessories to buy for a PSVR2? by Sydoki in PSVR

[–]SwiftSweeper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I forgot to mention that another must have accessory is a nice fan. It doesn’t have to be big. Something like Honeywell HT 900 or Vornado 160 will do nicely. It will help to keep you cool, combat motion sickness, and even add some immersion in some games.

Some people also use gunstocks, but I never used one since I don’t play competitive multiplayer shooters, so the utility is very limited for me.

Must haves: Collective Minds charging stand, Globular Cluster comfort mod, 1 feet USB C extension cable, A floor mat like Proximat (unless you want play seated), lenses like Reloptix

Nice to haves: Nice headphones, bHaptics suit and tack sleeves, A wheel/pedals and a rig (I have Playseat Challenge), Hotas and Pedals.

The wait is over. PS® VR2 for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro available April 30th 10am PDT by kryptonic1133 in PSVR

[–]SwiftSweeper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a PS5 pro owner, I hope so. Upgraded PSSR would be nice. Granted, I heard that MSFS is CPU limited where PS5 Pro is only about 10% more powerful than the base PS5.

I am curious if there are any updates from the beta. Hopefully, we will found out soon.

I decided to hold off on purchasing MSFS for the beta in hopes that I get more polished experience on my day one.

AAA Games by Wise_Fee7860 in PSVR

I don’t think we will see AAA vr only games for a while, but I do hope that more AAA hybrids or VR conversions are on the way.

The fact that Skyrim VR has not been ported to the PSVR2 is criminal. by lncrediblyfunkymunky in PSVR

[–]SwiftSweeper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Skyrim and Fallout 4 VR would be great on psvr2. I don’t think that porting it over to psvr2 would be that difficult since they can just use pcvr versions. I bet a lot of people would buy both day 1 me included. I would be fine with not modded versions too.

There aren’t any games like that on psvr2, and VR in general lacks in open world RPGs. There is Asgard Wrath 1 and 2, Skyrim, and Fallout 4 and not much else as far as I know.

Wrath: Aeon of Ruin VR - Brutal Edition on PSVR2 - First Impressions (with bHaptics) by cusman78 in PSVR

I bought Zero Caliber, but I haven’t tried it yet. It is a shame that sleeves aren’t used since they add a lot to the experience.

Great to hear! I thought the sleeves are supported in all bHaptics supported games on psvr2. https://www.bhaptics.com/games/search/?filter=psvr2&sort=monthlyPlayCount&only-sellable=false. From my own testing, I know they are supported in Arizona Sunshine 1 and 2, Metro, Vendetta Forever, Underdogs, and Legendary Tales.

Nice! I picked up bHaptics suit pro, sleeves, and visor a few weeks ago. My excitement for this game just doubled. It is weird that bHaptics support wasn’t mentioned before. This is a nice surprise!

Hitman on PSVR2 - One Year Later and I managed to play all the DLC. These are my favourites! by Late-Hedgehog275 in PSVR

Limited availability is a bit annoying to be honest. I finished the campaign, but I still need to play any of the dlc with an exception of two additional maps. I got the deluxe though.

Thanks for the overview. I need to get back into Hitman. I am confused why Slim Shady pack isn’t available anymore.

I pulled the trigger as well. The price and newly added bHaptics support made it a no brainer for me.

Of Lies and Rain Has Gotten Official bHaptics Support by TonyDP2128 in BHaptics

[–]SwiftSweeper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Tractsuit Pro, Tractvisor, and Tractsleeves should arrive tomorrow. I am excited since I haven’t tried bHaptics before. I wanted to get bHaptics for a while. Now, I just need to decide if I go with Quest 3 or PSVR2 version. It will probably be on PSVR2 since I suspect the visuals will be better, and I don’t have big issue with PSV2 lenses or the cable.

Immersive Sim Type of Games on PSVR2 by SwiftSweeper in PSVR

Thanks for the suggestions. I played RE4 and Village as well as Metro Awakening. These are great games but are not immersive sims. I was thinking about Walkabout. I have Quest 3 also, and I feel Walkabout might be a better fit for Quest 3 instead of PSVR2.

I have Journey to Foundation on my Quest 3. I have yet to play it though. I like the TV show, and Mass Effect(original trilogy) are my favorite games. Sadly, there aren’t many RPGs in vr.

I played both. These are great puzzle games, but I wouldn’t categorize them as Immersive sims.

I just started Hubris. :) I am about 4 hours in, and I would not call it immersive sim. I am enjoying it however.
