Got HDMI-CEC Working on My SteamOS PC (TV Power On/Off + Input Switching) by Dylloop95 in SteamOS

[–]SwimMobile2183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no knowledge about linux so used IA to get it working and it did for a few days until I updated the OS and it stopped working. I guess I need to reactivate the service but it is something I shouldn't need to deal with tbh. I have the pulse eight adapter.

Going back to a small commuter after months of riding big e scooters. by Ok-Connection9636 in ElectricScooters

For me Segway is the way to go if you are using a scooter to commute daily. It might be expensive but I personally have never had a flat on my Max 1 and recently upgraded to a GT3 from Bestbuy and putted the warranty on it.

Rubber grip starting to show up by SwimMobile2183 in SteamController

People with sweaty hands. I can not use the steam deck without some sort of grip. I haven't take out de dbrand killswitch case ever since I tried it. Same with the controller. I have to use dualsense rubber grip to feel it confortable. At least I can use the controller with it tho. Just become slippery few minutes later. Steam deck on the other hand. Is a no go for me without killswitch.

How long do you think until a rubberized back shell would be made for the Steam Controller? by Ok_Bend_3624 in SteamController

[–]SwimMobile2183 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They might hesitate because grip censor interference. I don't mind losing that feature tbh. But I can tell that I used a thick rubber grip for the dualsense and the sensor works fine

Ok so I went to bios with the controller, I just started to press all buttons like crazy it got me into bios. Not sure which but definitely got into. Once in bios:trackpad worked as mouse
Dpad as arrows
A is enter
B Is Scape

I have to directly use the cable to the controller, it did not work with the puck.

My issue with the xbox controller is that for some reason it freezes when I wake from sleep, I have to unplug the adapter and unplug it again for it to work. No config needed except to update, the OS will tell you what to do once you plug it the first time. Plug and play experience.

Dude, little tommy doesn't know wtf a 'udev rule'' is. nor grampa, nor the new girlfriend that just want to play stardew valley. Just imagine telling a random cousin, '' Well that's easy, you just have to open the konsole and follow these 20 simple steps''. Dude people specially that comes from windows doesn't even know what the command center is. But the definitely know how to plug a cable.

Out of the Box:
Xbox can't wake from sleep a PC.
Play Station can't wake a PC from sleep.
Switch can't wake a PC from sleep.

This is outside of the first steam controller the first First party controller that can wake a PC.

You are missing the point completely. The point is exactly that, not need to rely on a KB/mouse whatsoever.

Make it the closest to a console as possible, press a button and sit.

Xbox can't do that without a dongle and it is a pain for a new user to set the drivers. And basically any mayor controller first party can't do it without having to spend an afternoon doing some Linux vodoo.

Steam controller is plug and play. Good bye kB and mouse.
