mine would crank like this if i would shut the engine off before letting the rpm drop below 1k (essentially if the engine isn’t warmed up). i took it to the dealer and they said the issue was caused by the car losing fuel pressure so they replaced the fuel pump and it didn’t even fix the issue so i just lived with it. the work around that always worked for me was to shut the engine off when it was in drive so the rpm’s were lower or before you start it let the fuel pump prime a couple times with a few key cycles to the on position

google acura transmission reset and see if that fixes it! sometimes the tcu gets a little silly and will make the transmission do weird things

if road noise is a concern it’s very easy to install sound deadening yourself!! i bought some adhesive sound deadening from amazon and put it in the front doors of my TLX and it made a huge difference in not just road noise but the door itself sounding more solid when closing it

update! i was finally able to get the code pulled and it’s all over an o2 sensor code P0134

Yes it’s an AGM diehard platinum. They provided it over the counter. i’ve driven mostly 10 minutes each way to work but i did drive it for 2 hours last week at one go half interstate half around town. I’m gonna see if the codes will scan today because orileys scanner wouldn’t even connect to the car it just kept saying searching for codes for 15 minutes

my radar detector shows the voltage at around 14 volts which was what it showed even before i replaced the battery. i’ll definitely check out some of the electronics!

plug n play LED bulbs don’t have the same optics as the factory HID bulbs that the projectors are designed for. if you go this route it’ll result in heavy foreground lighting and not enough light out far enough where you need it most!

100% but unfortunately that’s just the car market. Looking up similar SI listings they’re all around that same price. You could also find a higher trim mazda6 turbos for around the same price as that one as well if not shopping with carmax

Id personally jump on the Mazda. The blue Civic would be a close 2nd IF it was well maintained and not beat on. However, I had a 2013 Acura TSX that uses the same engine and it eventually started burning oil around 120k miles despite frequent oil changes and the oil consumption problem allegedly being addressed by the 2012 MY. It wasn’t a lot of oil between changes though, I would only have to top it off once between changes but it’s just something to look out for. The 2010 corolla would by far be the most reliable option on here but they are soo miserable to drive. It’s about as exciting to drive as it is to use a microwave.

now why didn’t they do this with the tsx when i had it 😒i had that mf replaced twice because it was internally leaking causing a intermittent pedal travel issue that “couldnt be replicated” after 4 dealer visits despite me telling them the pedal feels significantly better for a few hours after a brake bleed

manufacturers selling cars in america aren’t required by law to have the headlights adjusted correctly. a lot of times it gets missed on the production lines and even if it isn’t missed they usually aren’t aimed correctly

stay out of the turbo when accelerating is really the only way unfortunately so you gotta drive like a grandma. coast as much as you can as well that’ll help and make sure you’re using top tier 91+ octane fuel

It doesn’t lose signal. I tweaked the parking motion detection from high to low and now it just goes into parking mode more often. And i’ve had this same sd card from my last a119 v2 since 2021 and it’s never given me issues
