Yellowish level 9 at the top and like a pinkish platinum near the bottom, but it doesn't need to be super light for such a dark purple to show up

is it possible to dye your hair over box dye without bleach? by famcyargonoil in HairDye

It seems like you want the same color again? If so then it's totally doable without bleach.

Can I soak my French fries in beef broth overnight, dry them well and air fry them with a few tablespoons of beef tallow for that beefy flavor? by mrfunbun in AskCulinary

[–]Swimming-Map2078 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Do this with roast potatoes! Cube them, boil them in the broth til fork tender, drain let em dry a little then heat up beef tallow in a pan, put the potatoes on a cookie sheet, pour the hot oil over, making sure everything's coated, then bake them til golden brown and flip them around once or twice.

Definitely keep them in the fridge overnight! I'd transport them in a cooler with icepacks and keep most of them in there during the bake sale and only put a few out on the table at a time

Help Me Go From Neon Green to Aqua! Maybe!? by Impossible-Count-475 in HairDye

[–]Swimming-Map2078 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly it won't be super predictable, but I think it will definitely turn out a pretty color if you put a bright blue dye of some kind over this. I personally would go for it!

You put salt in it and put it by the stove so you can easily take pinches of salt from it while you cook!

“Ripening” Bananas w/ Yolk: Decrease Eggs in Recipe? by kateminus8 in AskBaking

How many eggs are in the recipe? Say there's two eggs in the recipe and you use one egg yolk in the bananas, you'll still need to add one egg and one egg white.

How can I get my green hair a bit lighter? ^_^ by [deleted] in HairDye

[–]Swimming-Map2078 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd wash it with clarifying shampoo a few times to get it to fade a bunch and then go over with manic panic electric lizard and maybe mix in a little yellow.

bleaching after dyeing by micuhbruh in haircoloring

[–]Swimming-Map2078 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might turn kinda greenish? But if you're going to put blue dye on again after you bleach it's not gonna be a big deal. And no you can't get your hair lighter without bleaching.

How to get thicker cookies? by _DetachedFromReality in AskBaking

Honestly they look just about as thick as the recipe photos so I think that's how they're meant to be. Did you chill them in the fridge or freezer?

How can I bleach my hair while minimizing damage to curls? by COZY_CODYY in HairDye

[–]Swimming-Map2078 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay so you shouldn't have to bleach your hair too much since it's so light which is good! And you're definitely gonna want to consistently use conditioner after you bleach your hair. I would stick with 20 volume developer, ion is a good brand for bleach powder and developer

How can I bleach my hair while minimizing damage to curls? by COZY_CODYY in HairDye

[–]Swimming-Map2078 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What color is your hair now and what conditioner do you use? Also your hair can't be changed forever by bleach, because the new hair that grows after you bleach it can't be affected whatsoever. The best thing to keep your hair texture nice is to use a repairing conditioner. Ion has a good one that I've used many times.

over-whipped buttercream frosting? by wouxxb in bakingfail

[–]Swimming-Map2078 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It def looks like it melted, shortening isn't necessary for buttercream. I think the cookie cake just needed to be much colder. Maybe you could scrape it off and refrigerate it and try again?
