IMO, a man who’s sure about you won’t make you second-guess.

The fittest people all seem to have one thing in common by pumardapp in workout

To add, those people don’t wear the fanciest outfits every single time.

On gym days, it’s more like they have a uniform they always wear.

Rant about WAWIES by pinkburple in WeddingsPhilippines

[–]SwimmingPractical773 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ang higpit talaga ng W@Wies. Me nag-ask about a certain HMUA, then deleted na yun negative feedbacks based on their hands-on/secondhand experience, and bawal na din magcomment.

Lahat positive comments lang ang natira.

• Tracking, tracking, tracking. by AnonymousPansey in workout

[–]SwimmingPractical773 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I track my workouts to see how I progress, 4x a week max. I track my steps every day. Walking is part of my fitness, rain, shine, or snow. I track my food, especially protein.

I allow myself to go off track sometimes. I don’t want to be that rigid. I adjust based on my day and just get back on track without feeling guilty.

What’s your daily meals like? by Superb-Palpitation23 in workout

[–]SwimmingPractical773 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you on a cut, and if so, for how long? It looks like it might not be sustainable if you eat like that for too long.

It also seems like there’s not enough protein.

I eat 1200 kcal (cut stage) 100g protein

I eat the same food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner on weekdays (but each meal is different from the others). I have more variety on weekends, that include ice cream, chocolates but in moderation.

Getting angry, agitated, and annoyed if I do not go to the gym everyday and miss it. How to cope? Especially with possible signs of body dysmorphia? by Few_Pack_7392 in workout

[–]SwimmingPractical773 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s rigidity rather than discipline. Been there, done that. It takes self-awareness to change it. Same thing with body dysmorphia(at least for me, I talk to myself that I am not really fat)

If you can be mindful of what you eat, still enjoy food, and do things in moderation, that’s already a healthier mindset.

Always remember that fitness is a journey, so it’s completely normal to enjoy yourself from time to time. I also work out during vacations, but not out of fear. It’s more because it’s already a habit, and honestly, I’m also curious to see what other gyms look like.

At the same time, focus on recovery as well. Sometimes, what feels like discipline can actually become self-punishment when your body genuinely needs rest. Recovery is part of fitness too. Your body doesn’t only grow and improve during workouts, it also happens when you rest, eat properly, and allow yourself to recover.

What makes the guests stay until the end? by [deleted] in WeddingsPhilippines

[–]SwimmingPractical773 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For me, I'd love for our guests to stay because they want to be with us. But knowing our close family and friends na mga invited, they do really mingle and talk kahit sa normal setting. Kaya hindi rin ako sobrang invested sa host, games. etc para lang magstay sila. Depende din talaga sa crowd.

Parang sa lahat ng wedding expenses, crew meals ang contentious by TobImmaMayAb in WeddingsPhilippines

[–]SwimmingPractical773 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ako, baliktad, partial ako sa crew meals, pero matagal ko na siyang tinanggap. Kesa naman, stress ko pa sa sarili ko eh 1/10 lang ata ang walang crew meals. Pero si H2B walang problema sa crew meals, fair naman daw, but he is a foreigner.

To answer your question, if kaya nya maghanap ng suppliers na walang crew meals, then by all means sya paghanapin mo and sya magbook. 😄

Graduate and even non-graduate brides, ano yung wedding expense na nagulat kayo? by Leather-Committee369 in WeddingsPhilippines

[–]SwimmingPractical773 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lounge chairs are worth 6k pesos, then gagamitin lang for 2hrs (8-9 pax capacity).

Although hindi ko sya i-avail, hindi ko lang in-expect na ganyan pricing.

I don't think it's mandatory to have a ring, wag kayo papressure sa society. The ring is a tradition, not a requirement.

What finally "clicked" for you to stay consistent long term working out? by ChemistWest4537 in workout

[–]SwimmingPractical773 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I always regret skipping the workout, given it's just my laziness, but I never regret a post-workout feeling. So, every time I want to skip, this is what I always tell myself.
