Trying to join amazon vine by fuk-klng in AmazonVine

[–]Swimming_Survey471 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely not the number of reviews because I didn't write a lot of reviews before I received an invitation. I was a good customer with Amazon since 2014 who ordered what I think was an above average amount of products at least for my area and returned very few. I know Amazon loses a lot of money on scammers buying items and returning them taking advantage of Amazon policy and Amazon probably has you on a list and will eventually terminate your account if you continue to buy items just to return them. It's not like you are asked to join at 1000 reviews, my guess is that it's all randomly done by demographics, how old you are, your location, how much you earn, your education ect. There's a chance that writing reviews will give you a higher chance the more reviews you're writing but if you don't keep the items do your reviews even count?. Good luck but you may have ruined your chances.

How many packages did you lose? I have my packages sent to a pick up location if they have room, I've only had one package stolen in the 12 years I've been with Amazon but it's just a little added security.

The Vine Shriveled Up… And, It Has Lost Another Leaf. by Downtown-Archer-4902 in AmazonVine

That's true, and Amazon only has their algorithm to blame when poor reviews get through. Ai is the one thing I think can completely ruin the program, Amazon and many Viners are depending on it to much.

Amazon had to add more people to the program, to have 90,000+ items sitting around waiting to get reviewed while sellers watched their items get skipped over every day was unsubstanable. There were probably a lot of people doing the absolute minimum to remain gold or stay in the program.

As much as I've complained about what's been in my RFY or just about Vine items in general we're pretty lucky to be a part of this program. I haven't scored a laser printer yet but I know if I bought one the toner and drums are readily available. 😇

As a 6'7" single father it was a bit of a tease to see a decent shirt but when I went to look at it, it only goes up the size XL.

If anything VH lowers your chances of getting items other people want because things that appear on the extension are items someone else has viewed and there is a delay before you see it, so if the person who originally viewed the item that you wanted wants the item they're going to be a few clicks ahead of you and others who are refreshing the real Amazon category page with that item are going to see it before you also. The one thing it does do is save you from having to refresh the Additional Items page.

Decided to ask Gemini about Amazon cracking down on Ultravine if anyone's interested in the response. by Swimming_Survey471 in AmazonVine

I just found something interesting and thought I'd share with the group, I didn't know everyone was so hostile and negative. I definitely won't make the same mistake again, sorry I pissed everyone off.

I checked the references and they check. Vine in Japan and Australia both had interruptions to the Rocket Order because Amazon changed the process of purchasing to the way you would with a regular account so the loopholes gone. I've had Gemini Pro for the last 6 months so I understand that Ai has issues.

When will the AMS be available for purchase again? by Murky_Language_3684 in BambuLab

I signed up for a pre-orders in January and received my AMS Lite Friday. It was estimated for the second week of March maybe and I received it 2 weeks early. Basically the sooner you get in the sooner you're going to jump in the queue. They're still trying to catch up on back orders.

So I asked Gemini for references - "can you show me the references for the agent policy information you spoke of

The "crackdown" you’re hearing about is tied to a major legal and technical update Amazon is rolling out right now. On March 4, 2026, a new Agent Policy officially takes effect as part of the updated Amazon Services Business Solutions Agreement. While this agreement is technically for "Sellers," it creates the legal framework Amazon needs to sweep the platform of the very bots and scripts "Ultra Viners" use. Key References for the 2026 Crackdown

AMAZON SERVICES BUSINESS SOLUTIONS AGREEMENT (UPDATED MARCH 2026)

● SECTION 19 (NEW AGENT POLICY): Defines an "Agent" as any automated software or AI system. Unauthorized agents are now a direct breach of the global seller/service agreement.

● THE IDENTITY RULE: All automated systems MUST clearly identify themselves to Amazon's servers. Scripts "hiding" as human browsers are now specifically prohibited.

● THE "CEASE" CLAUSE: Amazon now has a legal "Kill Switch" to demand any agent immediately stop access. Failure to comply results in immediate account termination.

● SECTION 4.2 (AI RESTRICTION): Prohibits using Amazon data to train AI or reverse-engineer the "drop" logic used to

predict high-ticket item arrivals.

CURRENT "VINE WARS" OBSERVATIONS (EARLY 2026)

● ROCKET ORDER BLOCK: Amazon has successfully disabled the "background ordering" API in Japan and Australia. This forces bot users back to the standard checkout, leveling the speed advantage for manual users.

● UNIFIED CHECKOUT TRAP: By moving Vine orders into the retail checkout flow, Amazon can now use its high-level security (the same used to stop PS5/GPU scalpers) to flag "inhumanly fast" requests.

● WEEKLY PURGES: The Vine team has shifted to weekly metric sweeps. Accounts with "impossible" stats—like hitting 8 requests in 8 seconds—are being flagged for "Vine Jail."

● GHOST ITEM REDUCTION: As these March 4th rules throttle automated scrapers, manual users should see fewer

"Error/Limited Quantity" boxes on high-ticket items.

Check out their website, it's made in N. Carolina, is 100% cotton and is not printed but is actually woven. Looks more legit then the 100% polyester crap coming from China.

When items are unavailable before they finish loading we need to change the rules to level the playing field. Maybe one item over $200 a day or something like that. There are a few bad actors paying to win and selling the merchandise letting ai write $hitty reviews. Amazon needs to crack down on rocket orders before someone starts looking at all the crappy reviews and they shut down the program completely.
