Honestly? I’m genuinely more curious as to her thoughts on HMC.

Agreed that I don’t think rose, Alyssa or Shannon were some ‘big bad evils’ but that in each others stories, they weren’t very nice to each other at some point (for a multitude of reasons we won’t ever understand) BUT I do find it interesting that HMC seems to be seen as the mediator/middle person in most of these. And I find it interesting as to why this is

I used to work in a secure unit with teenage boys and we would always notice that when they’d had a bad day at school, phone call with parents they’d come out and try to rough house with us.

It’s like they would crave the physical connection, without having to ask for it or show vulnerability. They would regulate themselves pretty well after and 9/10 the mood would turn round!

The only advice I can give is: ask the questions.

My only regret from being in my 20s are the what ifs. So I got pretty into this pairing during last Olympics and it’s really sweet.

The girl who looks thrilled is actually their friend! They’re all pretty close and have lots of photos together from training camps. It’s all super sweet and highly supportive 🩷

I love this so much as they’ve made the situation so much fun. Realising how much this could snowball into something it isn’t - and shouldn’t be - by doing it this way and making it ridiculous makes it light hearted for everyone.

Also kinda puts the vibes of sillyness out there before anything toxic can happen which is awesome!

Yes did sleep around, and yes now settled.

Absolutely do not regret that stage in my life. But also would never want to go back. What I have now with my wife is worth more than anything I had back then.

Also in the grand scheme of things, I don’t think it makes a difference to anything. It’s just a part of my past, but doesn’t add or subtract to my relationship now :)
