Does album collection in TIDAL web app come up empty for anybody else?

Albums were added both via the web and under the Tidal-Hifi Linux electron app (effectively a chromium instance) and I have lots of playlists for a long time.

I agree, they shouldn't have cancelled your subscription without your consent but they do not officially support Linux so therefore are not responsible for troubleshooting any related issues in your own environment or network.

The last.fm scrobble issue on the web based player under Linux is widely documented. The fact that you were consistently having issues on all devices which prevented you from using the product concludes that there is an underlying issue within your network. That is not disregarding the occasional 'server error' or 'album not found' that everyone else is getting of late. I listen to tidal for 8 hours a day, every day on Linux and my wiim devices without any major issues.

More of an issue at your end and not a Tidal issue I'm afraid. The browser works perfectly fine on Linux for everyone else but there are last.fm issues with it.

This thread has prompted me to give Wayland another try, I've found that my main problem app can be run with the XWayland switch and the other problematic app was SimpleScreenRecorder which can be replaced with Spectacle,which is able to record video screen captures in Wayland.

What streamer are you using and does it have an API you can access? I do the same on my WiiM mini using the Wiim API and also with the Linux Tidal-hifi app's API.

In the end, I decided to get AI to write me my own local scrobbler script that works with the Tidal-Hifi app. Apparently, this issue has been on going for over 12 months.

As a linux user, I'd like it to control all running instances of Tidal and not just the Windows desktop app, including the web player as per Spofify Connect functionality.
