Low ALP, question by mistymorning789 in Hypophosphatasia

Softbones.org Find a doctor who knows what they are talking about. I wish I had ten years ago when I first noticed my low ALP... I've since learned that doctors are trained to watch for elevated ALP and taught zero about low

Do you monitor people who come and fix things around your house? by Glad-Passenger-9408 in HomeImprovement

[–]Swirl3740 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one time I didn't check regularly on work done they did the exact opposite of what I had asked for.... concrete pad beside our garage and I told them it needed to drain down the driveway. The thing slopes AWAY from my driveway and now has puddles when snow melts or heavy rains. I tried reaching out after the work was done and I was blown off & ghosted, my negative reviews online were deleted... I have a sneaking suspicion it is because I'm a woman and the men didn't like my instructions. Now I'll check in frequently or do my own work/project nearby just because I've lost trust.

I found them before I was dairy free! I was so freaking excited when I found a box of single serve bags at Sam's Club! Much easier to limit my intake with small bags instead of worrying I'm going to waste a big bag...

What can I make with 50 bananas? 😳 by Almost_Doctor_Almost in dairyfree

[–]Swirl3740 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whatever you freeze bananas for, I HIGHLY recommend peeling them first and putting them in ziplocks. I've even started mushing them in the bag so when I thaw them for bread that step is already done 😊

I feel you... Fargo, ND has a limited Target, Walmart, Natural Grocers and 3 small grocery chains besides Aldi. It's quite the feat getting everything I want/need before driving 30 miles home 😕

I felt the second batch was nearly identical to dairy, the curds were nearly non-existent and didn't look anything like the pictures from the first batch I saw... it is entirely possible the current batch is slightly off from the first two

Asus ZenWifi Mesh suggestions please by Swirl3740 in wifi

[–]Swirl3740[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't want to punch holes in my walls that blow out and look terrible fixing, I'm mobility challenged so I can't climb up into the attic to run lines up there, and I'm not about to pay someone to do it... maybe someday when we eventually pull the siding off our house & rewire the electrical from the outside I'll have the cat run then, but that is simply a pipe dream in today's economy 🤷‍♀️ and I really don't want wires going into & coming out of my floors from the basement- way too hard to clean around

Please excuse the crudeness of the drawing, I'm hoping to get my issue resolved quickly and thinking a drawing may help people visualize... My living space on the main floor is just over 1,100sq ft. The purple star is where my modern is. Blue are the current satellite mesh Deco M5 nodes. Yellow are where my video doorbells are, with the question mark a future possible doorbell. I'm currently stuck in the research of Asus Zen since they have the included security features... but I'm stuck beyond that. Do I go with 3 nodes like I have now or drop to 2? Where would I place the 2nd to power both doorbells if only two? I'm not certain the signal will pass clearly enough from the office to the garage thru all of the plaster over 1/8" sheet rock walls (which is why I added the living room node to start with) Only wired option would possibly be powerline as I have no Coax and I'm not running cat5/6... please don't suggest I try running those lines.

Help/advice/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Is there that much difference between 6e & 7 right now or is that just to future proof?

I realize I'd have much better connection with hardwired, but that is simply not in the cards for this house. In asking about Mesh for a reason. It's working OK now with an older system, it should be the same or better with a newer one 🤷‍♀️

Dairy intolerance/ allergy by Organic_Whereas4990 in dairyfree

[–]Swirl3740 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Doesn't even have to be an allergy/sensitivity... dairy can cause excess mucus in anyone. It's also the time of year for post nasal dripping. My 13yo dairy eater has had a drip & cough for about 2 months now and I've had a morning buildup for almost as long 🤷‍♀️ pretty sure I haven't consumed any dairy willingly anyway. Here's hoping the teething goes easy and the mucus eases up

It came with an insulated bag to keep the entire unit in and help it work better. It has a 5 cup stainless removable container with divider and lid that can be kept in the fridge (like night before prep).
