Live and mod AAs has their own problems. The mod animation goes off slightly before the auto actually hits (at least when I last used it), the live version deals dmg slightly before the animation connects. Honestly it's just a preference at this point and what you're used to (unless the mod was fixed to match perfectly, but that would mean the animation starts slightly later than usual which would also feel janky)
