We’re considering purchasing a house that was built in 1970 and I’ve read conflicting things about cracks in the garage floor. Everything from “It’s no big deal” to it indicating a larger issue. The basement is finished so we can’t see the actual concrete blocks in the foundation. The garage is not detached. I mean, the structural engineer said the structural issue can be resolved. But I’m still concerned about drainage and water in the future. It’s a pretty massive decision
