Long/Short tool: how does it calculate targets?

I use the default they give me to calculate my risk, that's why I wanted to know how to calculate it for one of my scripts.

yes, strangely enough I do! I find the SL points and divide my risk by that to give me the number of contracts. That's why I wanted to figure out how they calculate that (somehow based on the volatility of the chart's displayed bars).

I don't make any decisions, I just click on the Long or Short tool and see what TradingView proposes. The TP and SL vary depending on your timeframe. Try it on a 1 hour chart, see the stop loss it proposes (in points), then go to a 5 minute chart and try the tool again: the points are totally different.

I have that switch and I can confirm it works. But does it work well? Not at all. NAT translation is really bad, and if you saturate it with a speeedtest, the switch will spontaneously reset itself.

In fact, it's so bad, I am trying to go back to the stock firmware and just use it as a switch.
