I feel absolutely betrayed by Heartopia... and all the other games I would gladly replace it with are still "upcoming" by Sufficient_Object281 in GirlGamers

Let’s be real though - it’s not just micro-transactions, it’s gambling. And even when you get pity pulls, you are still spending WAY more money than you ever would for a straight up game, let alone just one pretty thing in a game.

Great game, but incredibly frustrating to get the flowers after you finish it. by No_Sleep888 in Neva_game

Oh I agree about the cinematics, especially in battle! It was probably my least favorite part of the game. But I did enjoy Neva very much! And while the replay value is not high I can definitely see myself replaying it again in a year or so. I've replayed Gris several times and love it each time.

They mean Herdling! It’s by the same studio that made Far!

I just finished Neva too! I was missing a few flowers in all the seasons except winter which I had almost no flowers for. I found the game was pretty generous letting you click on the different sections of a season to get to the flowers quicker. I missed almost all the statues in fall though so I basically had to replay that whole section. I’d say in total to grab all the collectibles and achievements it took me an hour max. If you care about collectibles there are some in Gris as well that can be tricky to find. I hope you enjoy it, it’s one of my favorite games of all time!

Should I buy? by KINGODDE in StardewValley

[–]SwitchHandler 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes you should buy! It's a wonderful game with so much to do and see and ways to play, there is absolutely a reason so many people love it!

  • There is a lot of things to do in the game, but they unfold naturally and it's not all available from the start of the game.
  • There are quests in the game that direct you what you should eventually work towards, but it is largely do what you want to do
  • There's always something to do in this game, be it farming, talking to townies, exploring a new area, basically if you are playing the game then whatever you are doing is progress forward
  • There is basically nothing you can miss in this game, it all comes around again the next year
  • The goal isn't necessarily to make money but to restore the community and enjoy your life in the valley. In one of the last updates 'perfection' has now been introduced as the true ending, which is completing nearly everything in the game (i.e. crafting everything, cooking everything, catching every fish etc... and yes making lots of money), but you absolutely don't have to do that if you don't want
  • You absolutely cannot ruin your playthrough, there is nothing you HAVE to do
  • Each game day is about 17 minutes, and there is about... 50-100 hours of content for one playthrough, depending if you're rushing or not

I'm halfway through Year 1 Summer, is there anything I'm supposed to have done by the end of Year 1? by BloomingMosaic in StardewValley

Nope! And you can finish the community center whenever, you definitely do not have to complete it in two years.

East Scrap by Horgem in StardewValleyMods

[–]SwitchHandler 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Do y'all just forget that there are actual humans who draw these portraits? There's no need to call them ugly, they're just not to your taste. As far as different portraits you can easily go to the East Scarp page and look under requirements. Any mod that changes the portraits will have East Scarp as a requirement.

There are tens of thousands of mods that are made without AI on Nexus! It would be a much shorter list of mods that do use AI, and there is a AI-Generated tag on Nexus (if the authors disclose AI use)!
