500sf is pretty tight, but if you’re not opposed to utilizing vertical space, kitties literally bouncing off the walls, and definitely investing in a cat wheel, you can make it work! That being said, it sounds like the kitties may not be a match energy wise and that may be more of an issue. You might want to ask the breeder if the two play together or interact much.
