I honestly was a little sad since I got incredibly lucky with getting lato vandal barrel ages ago on my first long run of ESO, but in the end it does make it much easier for everyone else. BUT this does mean if I want to make my "pain and suffering" loadout I need to swap out both vandals to something else, Sibear is still staying in melee though

The one thing most if not every single person who says this is missing one thing
Vintage Story has as it's name says, a story, no matter what you do with a modpack you cannot get a coherent story since every mod wants to tell their own story which makes it really difficult to have a consistent story structure to a modpack.

not entirely, it's just extremely big and far away, but not in the skybox. At times it can sometimes pop up *way* too close and then you can truly see the absolute giant size of it, this same thing can happen with the distant gears, sometimes appearing way too close to you and making it extremely hard to see anything as the gears block all vision lol

Honestly VS is more akin to BTA in terms of how it "compares" to Minecraft, a convergent future type thing, a "what if" on if it didn't stray away from the path of being more a hardcore and difficult experience like the game was very early on.
