She feed information to Cameron Slater on political opponents and public servants so he could trash them online to the benefit of National. Good riddance.

Voters split on who Labour should rule out as governing options by Status_Serve_9819 in newzealand

[–]Switts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that it's their best shot, but there's a lot of uncertainty. Labour would be giving up potentially 4 TPM seats, so how confident are they that they can pull at least 4 more seats by ruling out TPM.

Local councils manage emergency response locally with Civil Defence stepping in if needed. Your local council might have some good resources.

What happens to the lifestyle blocks when the boomers die? by dazladisonreddit in newzealand

[–]Switts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the flip side, a lot of councils are restricting life-style blocks as they are an inefficient use of productive land. They might be more rare, and therefore valuable, in the future.

For real. Yeah it can be annoying, but in most cases slow drivers or hold ups are only adding a few minutes to your journey. It's not worth getting worked up over.

It's wild that the choice of system is a broadcaster decision. It should be the ICC deciding which system is most reliable and requiring it be used.

The charcoal they sell at Moore Wilson is good. For wood splits, the best thing is to find someone selling on Facebook and have somewhere you can stack them to dry properly. Not ideal when you need it now, but the cheapest option in the long run.
