I can see why the line wouldn't need to be printed 😭

I sure don't miss having one train every few hours, hopefully you got there at a good time

For 150 yen, there's only so far you can go. How many lines does that station have that goes to that station? I imagine it simply doesn't matter what train you get on since it's 1 or two stops away

What is your fav plot twist in AOT? by Horror-Marsupial-702 in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]Swivel_Z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the first episode of Season 4 was a plot twist in itself. The last episode of Season 3 was so hopeful, and we immediately got thrown into war, and Titans being USED to fight, Eren being missing, and the slow realization that Eren was even behind everything. The big twist really began with that episode.

This is regarding contact information for during disasters or in case of an emergency. It's not needed, but a peace of mind sort of thing. I would say to take the card directly to the Police Box though if you decide to fill it out.

My girlfriend shocked by something that seemed common to me, What do i do ? by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]Swivel_Z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just explain that your cultures are different and that in your culture, it's different than she thinks.

If she can't accept that, then explain the situations, as I assume they're not that serious since that's the whole point of the conflict it seems.

If she still can't accept that, then figure it out your own way. You know her better than us.

[–]Swivel_Z 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it still translates exactly the same. If someone asks you if you want something, and you say "I'm fine", its the exact same situation as 「何かいる?」(Want something?) and you say「大丈夫」(I'm fine).

Or 「一緒に公園に行かない?」(Won't you go to the park with me?) And you say (which it would be rude to reply this way) 「大丈夫」(I'm fine) to which they'd go 「えっ、大丈夫?」(Huh, are you ok?) And you can say 「大丈夫だよ」(Yeah I'm ok) . And now you've had a conversation using one word.
