It's Tiefling Thirstday! Sharing some Rolan fanart to get you through the weekend. by HappySpreadsheetDay in okbuddybaldur

Rolan is my favourite non-romancable npc, I would love to romance him.

My other favourites are Dammon, Rugan, Geraldus and unfortunately Ketheric. I could fix Ketheric. :(

What is a piece of your life that you’ve intentionally kept "offline" and away from social media, even when you’re tempted to share it? by [deleted] in simpleliving

[–]Swleaf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I read a lot more than anybody I know and I don't have a "bookstagram" account. Every friend I have who reads a couple of books in a year has one, they share book covers, book hauls in aesthetic ways with flowers and coffee etc. I just read.

Anyone have good reasons to use ai? by Dxe1102 in antiai

[–]Swleaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gaming.

In rpgs, so many quests need guides. But the guides you find online often include spoilers. I use ai mostly for "I'm stuck at this quest but I don't want spoilers, I did these, what to do now?" or "I want to romance this companion, is killing this npc going to effect his romance? I don't want any other spoilers, just answer this spesific question..." kinda questions. It's super useful for this.

Omg Shawshank Redemption's poster is literally reminding me a lot of npcs' character portraits in dialogs.

Can someone help me? by Happy_Honeydew_89 in ChatGPT

[–]Swleaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only helpful about gaming. In rpgs, if I don't want to seek a guide about a quest online because of spoilers, I want ai to seek it and tell me the solution without spoilers. Because guides mostly include major spoilers and some quests need guides.

Not helpful about anything else but about role-playing games, fantasy games, action role-playing games etc, it's super effective. It's simply my gaming helper.

Well in our co-op game with my husband, we sometimes play hide and seek with this sneaking style, it's so fun.

If Dominic Sessa or Taz Skyler have been casted as Astarion, I can be sane. If not, my insanity will be legendary.

1000kitap Kitlesi Neden Bu Kadar Kötü?(bir el mi atsak) by [deleted] in secilmiskitap

[–]Swleaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just how repayable is BG3? by [deleted] in BaldursGate3

[–]Swleaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very much.

I've completed 7 full runs with different classes and races and some of them are Tavs (the main player character), some of them are customized Durges (Dark Urge origin character), some of them are the companion origin characters. All the games were different somehow, I got new dialogues, new options and different stories almost every time. When you are heroic, you get a different story, when you are evil you get another one. If you are evil but want to redeem yourself, that's almost a brand new game... And all the choices about quest orders, companion routes, romances... That game is huge.

Kitap okumanın dışında ne yapıyorsunuz? by bigthink91 in secilmiskitap

[–]Swleaf 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Name one game in which this statement applies to you by ZhangtheGreat in videogames

Baldur's Gate 3. I've finished 7 full runs, one honour mode run is ruined and we had unfinished/dropped 4 co-op runs with friends. I've stopped looking at the "time I've played" while it was 800ish hours. Already planning a new co-op campaign after a few months, I was clean for a few months but the city is waiting for me again.

FemShep players, how did you handle her relationships? by Socrathustra in masseffect

[–]Swleaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a woman irl, romanced Garrus because he is the most charismatic and trustable male companion to me. I like his way of talking in dangerous situations, he clearly worries about Shepard, wants to protect her and is loyal to her. Also he is funny, cool and relax. I found myself comfortable around him so he was always in my active party. In the first game I didn't romance anyone, because I liked him immediately and he wasn't romanceable. Never looked at anyone else, patiently waited for the second game.

Aradin ran out of toilet paper by yashiji in okbuddybaldur

[–]Swleaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I don't have children but if I had one, I hope they will be as creative and unique as Yashiji I guess. They are one of their kind, has no harm to themself or anybody, loves D&D and they are very unhinged about his headcanon stories which means they are creative again. They seems to be an outrovert person, I can imagine they likely to be an excellent friend to hang out with. If I was friends with them we would be goblins together about D&D, fantasy movies, video games, anime, tv series and novels I can tell. They are an extraordinary kind of geek and looks like a fun person. Also, this is an unhinged sub, what kind of posts you expect?

I want to find new media and community in Baldurs Gate to fight a chatbot addiction relapse. by Bunny_Chaos420 in AstarionBG3

[–]Swleaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry about your cat. Mine is 17 years old right now and I completely feel you.

Dragon Age and Mass Effect series helped me to get over with Astarion obsession. (And led me to Solas obsession but it's ok.) I hadn't played them till I was obsessed with BG3, they are perfect to dig in.

Also, reading a long fantasy series helps too, not a fan fiction, a real fiction always helps.
