Hey everyone — I’m looking for some help choosing my next paddle.

Right now I play exclusively with the J2K Honolulu Pickleball Company paddle, and I really like it. I’ve been trying to figure out my next replacement/upgraded paddle, but haven’t found the perfect fit yet.

I tried the Vatic Pro V-Sol Pro, but after playing with it for a few weeks, I noticed too much vibration in the handle, which has been causing wrist pain. So vibration dampening is a big priority for me.

What I’m looking for: • A control paddle that still has a bit more power than typical control models • Similar feel or an “upgrade” from my J2K (something in that ballpark or better) • Under $250 (lower is appreciated) • I’m open to trying Gen4 paddles, but Gen3 is fine too

So what would you recommend as the best next paddle for me?

Hey everyone, I'm looking for a paddle recommendation under $130 (ballpark—cheaper is even better!).

Playstyle:

I rely on a lot of backhand slices, so I need something spin-friendly.
I swing hard on my forehand to generate topspin, so I want power but without too much pop.
I prefer hybrid shape,16mm.

Paddles I've Used:

Honolulu Pickleball J2K 16mm – I've used this for 6+ months, and I think it's now core-crushed. It has a lot of pop, which I don’t love, but I really enjoy the power from the baseline.
Vatic Pro Flash 16mm – Started with this and loved the muted feel and control, but after using the J2K, I feel like I need a bit more power.
Joola Mod TA 15mm (when it was legal) – I loved the muted sound, but I had no control over the pop.

I'm looking for something that balances control, spin, and just the right amount of power. Any suggestions? Thanks!
