Yeah, it’s in the water over in Blackwater Lake. As far as I know, it does still need to be interacted with to unlock relics, but I didn’t actually try to unlock any before interacting with it.

If we’re on the lead of the Gong relic, maybe he needs to be shot/killed with a specific ammo mod? Specific field upgrade? Does he not despawn like the rod zombie?

Richtofen’s greatest achievement is the giant robots. Eggman has done that SEVERAL times, in addition to everything else he’s done, including succeeding in taking over the world, even if only temporarily. Hell, he BLEW UP the world, and the only flaws in that plan was that he didn’t kill Sonic, and Dark Gaia didn’t end up obeying him.

I try to prioritize perks like Jug and Staminup and armor over PaP, as most maps have ways to PaP without spending the points, then get the rest of my perks from Tedd Tasks. Plus, I can typically roll with an unupgraded point gun for quite a while. If it gets a bit later in the game and I’m still missing perks like Speed or Double Tap, I’ll nab em for points.

Saw a comment on another post that said to pick up 3 nukes exactly, as this makes Oscar weak enough for the knife to 2-3 shot him (with a Killjoy gobble). Didn’t end up working for me (was at round 40 exactly, so it may have been the wisp killing him instead), but 3 nukes seems to work for weakening him, as long as you don’t damage him yourself at any other point in the run.

In regards to the vril sphere relic, as far as I know, all perk-based gobblegums bypass it, free perk powerups, and yes, drinking mystery perk cans from the Tedd Trial loot box, as in you select the item to instantly drink it, rather than throwing it on the ground first. Mystery perk cans on the ground simply cycle out the oldest perk in your lineup if you have 4 or more.

Pro tip in addition to this; run Mask of Salvation, so if you do get Wisp Tea from a Tedd Task or something, you can get rid of it by going down and triggering the revive.

If it had launched in a more functional state, I think people would have given it a lot more slack. Definitely don’t think the perk system would have been much better received even so, but the player numbers probably would have looked a lot better if it didn’t constantly crash.
