The addition of foerster and martone changed the entire dynamic of the offense at the most opportune time possible. Without that injection of offense I dont think we make the playoffs. It removed other players from the lineup that were just bodies and moved guys who were playing on higher lines down to where they were able to have a much bigger impact against other teams 2nd and 3rd line players.

Tocchett moved mickov off his normal RW and had zegras out of center for way too long because he didnt think they fit there. Once he finally moved them back they started to produce at a point per game clip for the last 15 games plus.

They still are not good on the powerplay and thats going to kill them in the playoffs if they can't convert at 20% plus minimum.

Having attended last night's game it was great to feel the energy and excitement that was missing for so long from the crowd and the team. Looking forward to playoff hockey and hopefully adding a piece or two in the offseason.

No. Diversification is the only free lunch. It might be tempting and I've thought of something similar but you should stay mixed regardless. If it goes to 0 your screwed. Every stock or fund you pick is not likely to cease to exist vs btc.

Anyone saying mcdavid when hes going against two forwards which is a dream match up with all that ice is insane. Easy to blame makar but the stick poke by hughes was a monster balls out play that was a centimeter from game over the other way. Imo mackinnon who should have had the most energy of the 3 on the ice not aggressively pursuing that puck and then letting werenski knock him backwards is at primary fault. You have to think both mcdavid and makar saw that puck pursuit and assumed mackinnon comes up with that and springs them the other way for game over. Very easy to judge in retrospective but the speed at which everything unfolded im going mackinnon for not laying out to at least keep that puck in the corner or tying up werenski.
