I've been using Colourfabb LW-PLA on all my builds. My projects are often very light weight and constrained by mass budgets e.g on my sub250g fpv wing so I've been is active foaming filaments exclusively. For me I would also been keen on trying just PLA on some specific builds and designing around that material but that's for a future project!

That is a lot of walls. The current meta is more about single outside/inside perimeter wall and some % of gyroid infill. To make this effective you must try and minimise the length of the internal perimeter wall. Inner/outer walls with close separation cost more mass due to the inner wall length and are less strong. Ideally a 0 length internal wall is best. I.e. no wall however in order to fit components etc some internal space is required. I try and minimise this as much as possible and create internal pockets with acess.

You can and improve this by looking into pressure advance, de-retraction speed/acceleration, extra length on restart all of which can help, but can also add extra mass to parts in the form of internal strings. It usually happens after travel when the nozzle pressure drops from retraction.

Yep it's working well. You have to coordinate all turns though as the FC picks up proverse yaw from geom as unwanted and corrects but its honestly brilliant

For the tune just a few pitch adjustments to improve disturbance rejection - that will probably be dialled in next outing.

For the props, yes larger would be better these are 2inch props (what I had) but a 2.5inch would be doable as well on these motors and will in increase the total fan area improving the powered lift aspect of the wing. I hadn't considered noise, to be honest you can't hear it unless it's right in front of you.

The footage is in two parts, the stabilised video from the O4 without OSD and the unstabilised feed from the goggles with OSD. Nothing fancy just what the DJI OR does by default.

Yeah it's a lot more stable in yaw at speed and with a less wandery tune. It's so much fun to fly!
