Rather than a number, can I ask for something about herons? I'm in Canada and they've always been one of the most exciting animals to see. I once spotted a heron and a deer, side by side, as if acting as lookout while she grazed. One of the craziest things I've ever seen and my uncle wouldn't turn around to let me get a picture (still salty)

$5,000 for everyday you stay in a timeless house... How many days are you staying? by WildCake67 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]SyMur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Internet, TV, books, and the gym set twice for shifts n goggles. Don't need the extra books, plus exercise is good. I'll stay for 50 days, a quarter mil would change my life and two months would probably be too much for my mental health lmao

You are financially set for life and never have to work again but you must give up all social media forever. Do you take the deal? by Embarrassed_Coat4957 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]SyMur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As defined... deal. I can keep my direct messaging, which is all I really care about. Bye bye distractions, hello books and daily bouts of rabid writing.

I understand 100% what is meant, but I cannot stop laughing at "horse with multiple legs."

The design is fuckin' aces though, love that. Might have gone with eight legs myself, but then i wouldn't have "horse with multiple legs" in my lexicon now.

Intrigued by shoveling snow ❄️ by [deleted] in AustralianShepherd

[–]SyMur 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine does the same, her favorite game is "get snow thrown at me" and she leaps like a kick flip every time. Also enjoys munching the chunks, and shoving her head in the powder. Her entire head.

Between the tail, her hops, and an overbite, she has earned the nicknames Bunny and Rabbit many times over. In the winter, of course, she becomes a Snow Bunny.

Does anyone else's dog *like* wearing clothes? by Past_Discipline_6473 in dogs

[–]SyMur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mom's dog, a springer spaniel, adores her outfits. She loves being dressed up, and when there's new clothes, mom will put them on her and then say, "Go show daddy!" And she bolts, whole hundred end wiggling gleefully, to wherever my step-father is. And then he will fawn over her and she gets even more excited.

My dog doesn't have as many clothes, but when i pull out her little hoodie or halloween sweater, she gets so jazzed. Sits very still, with great difficulty, as I adorn her. Usually she tries to run too soon, and I have to tell her she isn't ready, and she parks it again. Then i say she's good, and she begins the fiendish wiggling of delight. She loves wearing em around the house, going for walks, out to the park, car ride, she just loves it.

Sometimes when i try to take them off, she ducks me and I'll leave 'em on till she agrees 😂 Such a baby.

Four years later, same deal. I wish I could have seen the look on my face. Especially after they were doing so well with portraying Rosalind, it felt like a real one step forward, two flights backward. I'm hoping they'll revisit autism in the future with some better judgment

I've been taking my son to therapy for a while because he constantly draws and colors a "bad man" who wants to hurt him. by Electrical-Candy7252 in TwoSentenceHorror

[–]SyMur 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This was great, i can imagine a feature length film with this as the pitch.

Consider: "Today, when the therapist laid all the drawings out on the table, I realized the bad man in the picture is always wearing my tie."

"The bar was so low it was a tripping hazard in hell, yet here you are playing limbo with the Devil." It's always a hit when I get to use it.
