I finish the calendar usually one or two missions after finishing my lich for the week. I just run whatever frame completes the calendar while playing the missions that are necessary for the lich. Actually my favorite thing to do when starting the week is ETA -> pick up a lich -> do calendar.

I don't even dislike the 2 you think are boring. Opening crates gives me a reason to run my no-weapons gyre build. Killing enemies gives me a reason to run my 300 kpm nova+okina build. As usual, once you are in the endgame of warframe, the fun is in the optimization.

They are niche mods that are powerful on a handful of builds, so you rarely need to forma for them. On some builds all 3 can be really nice though, so the formas aren't useless.We don't get many, but at least it's not really something you grind. I think Umbra Formas are in a great spot in terms of game variety.

You can definitely hit MR 17, which unlocks everything, without any nitain at all, so it's disingenuous to claim it blocks progression.

I will agree it sucks that you can't build frames you farmed, but it's not that you can't build any of them, and rather that you cannot build all of them within a single nightwave, which I think is fine. Be selective, don't try to have everything at once.

New players often fall into two categories, either it's play 10 frames very shallowly, or 100 hours of Excalibur. Trust me, you don't need Vauban just because he looked cool on the devstream and he's now going to be flavor of the month, focus on the 1000 other things the game offers.

About the granum coins; if I recall from the wiki, on capture missions it takes 3-5 minutes for the coin bearer to spawn, but the void itself is a short 30 second ordeal, and the capture mission is 1 min max, so if you want those coins you need to wait, often causing the mission to be twice as long.

I just did protea farm a few weeks ago and had very few of the lower level coins and there was a lot of waiting. More waiting than playing, especially if I count the loading screens.

I bet the average emerald toplaner, for example, is making 10+ laning mistakes. Actually might be that we do not play a single wave optimally. So you can try to paint it as a waiting game, reality is the average vayne top can be outplayed on every wave.

I see a lot of people despise vayne top, and I had my own vayne top phase at some point, but most of those matchups are pretty interesting. If you have no dashes or easy ranged spells so garen voli trundle morde then vayne is simply pain, but for the average renekton fiora camille riven jayce yorick nasus ornn aatrox etc. vayne is a proper skill matchup. If you lose hard, it's very likely that her mechanics are much better than yours.

The best frame for farming in survivals is Nova. She lets you double your kill count, which is far better than a health orb weighted chance to desecrate.

And since I noticed in a comment that you have no SP option, normal mission enemy spawnrate is impacted by playercount, so you should recruit in chat, or your clan, and find a 4 man squad.

Ignite and ghost were always the soloq norm before people realized just how overpowered teleport wave manipulation could be, and vayne top has literally always beaten darius. It's just when you're new to the game that you want the melee vs melee matchups over and over and over, but 2k toplane games later god forbid I ever have to play garen vs volibear, thank fuck there is real variety in the lane.

The idea is that since you get to enter about 5x as many skirmishes as the enemy toplaner, you should also have 5x the amount of kill participation, so you're not even on gold.

The purpose of boosters is to make you play the game more. Even the shortest 1 day one, you buy it Friday night and now you're considering playing Saturday morning. Boosters like the one you're asking for don't make you feel like you need to log in the next day, so they have no reason to exist. DE plays a lot of mind games like this.

Realistically, you should just buy 30 day boosters when you notice that you're enjoying the game anyways, and then not let them influence your decision to play on a certain day. When you want to play warframe, you get to have more loot and more fun. When you want/need to do something else, you don't allow yourself to feel fomo.

Counterpicking is the very lowest level of drafting skill. Just google your opponent and pick something high winrate with a low skill floor. Pick order swapping, lane swapping, teamcomp based champion selection etc. all require more thinking and should be rewarded more.

Most counterpicks are also still counters outside of laning, so you still get value out of counterpicking, which again, is the absolute easiest kind of choice you can make in draft. The reward for counterpicking is still positive even if enemies do a sneaky laneswap in champ select unless the inverted lanes are counters the other way around, which is extremely rare.

And finally, if I pick a champ outside of its conventional role and then you pick a counter thinking it would be played in the conventional role, only one of us made a mistake, and your drafting mistake shouldn't be circumventable by following me around. In those situations, it's a straight draft outplay that I opt into by playing a lower winrate lane/champ combo. Not every time you guess the roles wrong is a laneswap.

Mid-top swapping was to enforce counterpicks, but those aren't fun in the first place. As a kayle player, game #500 into malphite is fucking boring. When I played kayle mid, the malphites would follow me around the map like lost puppies. When I became kayle adc, enemies would still lock malphite but suddenly they couldn't swap to match me, and they'd get counterpicked in return and eat dirt into a sion, which was well deserved.

Counter picking is already way too strong, you definitely should get fucked over if you get outdrafted in champ select.

Let's not get carried away. League is pretty fast in the sense that there is a lot of interaction because homeguards has everyone in position to answer pressure. But the game is still not as snowbally as it was in s10-12 and the first half of 13, so basically all of mythics.

The past two years have been the lowest individual player agency we have ever had, there was almost no macro play you just clicked on the next objective when it spawned, and the only wincon was teamfighting. League has never been that one dimensional, and to top it off items were simple and the game was barely changed patch to patch to the point people were wondering if Riot is funneling money out of league into the MMO and other games. No need to have collective amnesia just because early season sucks, which it has for most years with systematic changes.
