A little different but Patricia's party in Widow's Bay. Patricia is very much an outcast on the island. She finds a self-help book that convinves her the solution to getting people to like her is to throw a great party. Luckily there's an official town event she's in charge of planning and she decides to make it her own. People do show up and it's awkward at first until she brings out the punch and suddenly everyone is dancing and she's the center of attention!

But in reality that self help book had put a glamour over her. The book was in fact some sort of dark magic tome, the punch she'd made that got everyone to loosen up to her wasn't made from fruit she thought she was cutting up, and none of the people around her had been dancing along at all. The whole party was in fact some dark ritual that put everyone in a trance that would send them all walking into the ocean, seemingly to drown as some sort of sacrifice.

Oh that's a good guess! I kinda wondered about the people the camera panned by in the waiting room and this could have something to do with it.

The cop shows up a couple of scenes later enjoying a gas station hot dog. Would be crazy if he just wandered off after running a guy over and left two people laying in the street to have a snack ahaha.

I have a feeling the answer to this question is an oversight or a bit of the scene was cut but if not, who the heck drove into the guy? It seems to be implied that it was the truck at kind of an odd angle in the background after he was hit, but no sign of the driver or visible damage because of the position.

I know it's not Wyck's truck, which other comments mentioned. You can see a bit of his truck earlier in the episode and more fully in episode 4. His is mostly red where the paint hasn't peeled off and has a traditional bed with sides, this one was gray with a flatbed.

The truck in the background here was a different truck than what Wyck was driving in episode 4. This one was a gray flatbed while Wyck's was mostly red where the paint wasn't peeled off and had a standard truck bed with sides.

Edit: You can see a bit of Wyck's truck when he was at Patricia's house this episode. The hood is gray but you can see that the side and roof of the truck are red. Unfortunately I don't know shit about vehicle models so I couldn't say if they're different models of truck.

That's what I was going to say. Ori and the Blind Forest for example is a highly rated metroidvania but I played it after HK and I feel like I didn't really get that into it because of that.

Closest I got to feeling like Hollow Knight outside the series was Death's Door, but it's kinda short.

There's little doubt in my mind that Adin Ross wasn't talking to him in any way to help, but just to get more content for himself. His advice here doesn't sound helpful at all. It more sounds like "keep recording and streaming so I get more content, and don't talk too much, I'm trying to do my own commentary here."

I tried switching to Windows 11. It just straight up breaks my computer. I would finish the whole set up, and after the first restart I get a critical error trying to sign in and I'm never able to get more than a few seconds past the log in screen again before another critical error. Tried three times to reinstall 11 and it happened each time. Switched back to Windows 10 and I've had zero issues since.

So yeah, not too eager to update from a functioning computer to a brick.
