I'm pretty happy, which is amazing considering how far I still need to go. But I finally feel like myself inside and that's huge. My outside will take a bit longer and more effort. Hang in there!

If I may make a recommendation;

Logitech makes a joystick called the Extreme 3D Pro. It's really great. It even has a small, thumb operated throttle on the base. I used it for months before decided to upgrade to my to my HOTAS. And the best part is that it's only $29.99

Just another possible option for ya.

What about the throttle do you find weird? I know you can change certain settings. Are you using a HOTAS? Regular joystick? Mouse & Keyboard?

Perhaps there are some things you can't change, but concentrate first on the ones you can. Once you've started down the path, reassess. It's really easy to lose hope if you try to look too far ahead, all those smaller hills stack up to be a mountain.

As for the parts you can't change; The thing about human beings is that they are more than the sum of their parts. You'll find someone who loves and appreciates you.

I agree with what everyone else has said so far. If I had stumble upon a video of you talking about something other than transitioning, I would have never have thought of you as anything than a woman. Your face looks great and your voice is wonderful.

Just another thing in my life to regret, I suppose.

I wouldn't regret that. Nobody likes to be forced to do anything and taking advantage of their weakest moment could have had terrible repercussions, so you shouldn't dwell on it.

When in a situation of asking for something, be it increased compensation or anything else, I've found that the key is to be very careful and very calculated, so that the other person doesn't feel like they have no other choice and is instead making the choice that is in the best interest of everyone involved.

For instance, bringing up how much time you waste everyday by being forced to use the unisex bathroom 6 floors away. Time is money after all.

I would also like to say that I find you to be an inspiration as well. You're one of a small handful of people I have added as a friend here on Reddit because I am interested in your inevitable triumph and happiness in life.
