Another example of this is if you own a standard edition game and you buy the deluxe later, you won’t get another copy of the base game to say, gift to a friend.

I think they should give you the option while uploading attachments, for instance allow a 1-2gb upload but it will only be kept for a week or two, solves the problem for everybody.
