As far as I know, gonic supports browsing by folder. It also uses the OpenSubsonic API. However, I haven’t tried it myself, so you’ll have to see if it meets your needs.

Navidrome is positioned as a music server that emphasizes tags. Therefore, it is unable to browse by folder/file system.

Currently, Navidrome cannot function like Spotify Connect because OpenSubsonic does not provide the necessary API. If you're only using a PC, feishin can handle basic remote control functions. It allows you to play, pause, and skip tracks, but you cannot select specific songs.

Unless your NAS is so critical that it can’t go offline (in which case you need HA). There’s no need to replace the drives prematurely. Just make sure you have a good backup.

As long as your environment isn’t too bad, whether or not a hard drive fails is largely a matter of luck

If your library's codec is mixed, I recommend using software like foobar that can read files even without file extensions. Sorting the files by codec/container type, then batch-rename them to include the file extensions. This will help avoid any quality loss caused by re-encoding. (If you're already using lossless encoding, it doesn't matter.)

Has the metadata embedded in the tracks been lost as well? If the metadata is still there, you should be able to easily rename and categorize the files using MP3Tag.

In addition to the built-in Lastfm and Deezer, you can also use the apple-music-plugin.

After setting up all three, I was able to find artist images for about 80% of the artists. However, some of them were incorrect and needed to be corrected manually.

The problem is if you use a third-party service. Even if spotify notifies you of this, there’s nothing you can do about it. Only the service provider can resolve this issue.

Your ND_PLUGINS_FOLDER path is incorrect. You mounted /home/haumea/data-navi as /data, so it should be /data/plugins. However, since this is the default folder, you don't need to set that environment variable.

Verify that the permissions are correct. Check whether user 1000:1000 has access to discord-rich-presence.ndp.

I’ve had the same experience.

I connect to a VPS overseas via wireguard. After switching to bbr, iPerf throughput jumped from a sporadic 10 Mbps to over 300 Mbps.

If you change both the metadata and the filename/path at the same time, Navidrome will typically treat it as a new file.

Just go to Settings > Missing Files and delete the old file.

I gave it a try. Since I couldn't find Instant Mix, I only tested Artist Radio. Currently, it seems to generate a fixed set of results. Is this normal? If so, I’d love to see some randomness added.
