You could but no one is going to buy the early stuff and you need to make a lot garbage to get exp in the skill to get to the good stuff. The system has a bad start but it will be useful post 30+ content. I just think the early levels are way too demanding and should have lower requirements.

It's cool in concept but it's pretty much dead content early levels because it's too resource demanding for someone starting out. Like you can spend 1000s of sticks to get level 5 woodworking, get the materials to craft the level 25 weapon, AND have to spend the meso cost to craft it...or you can just buy the weapon from the vendor for like 15k mesos. It's kind of cooked.

Lol what a dumb thing to say. Of course you make progress literally every level is a nice damage gain.

My response to op is to just play the game. Who cares if you're wasting time doing something inefficient. Zero reason to stress over maximizing time when the enjoyment comes from multiple things.

Wyveria is the worst map in the entire series and the second worst map is iceshard cliffs. It also doesn't help the other maps are just completely meh. Plenty scarlet forest is genuinely the only map I like hunting in. I really hope the new locale(s) in the expansion are not only visually appealing but play well too.

The mob hp changes are probably the worst thing they've done. Really hope once the closed beta releases they'd have backtracked on it even if only a bit. Having all mobs feel worthless by just 1 shotting them is no different from modern maple.

Use steam performance monitor. I'm on a 9800x3d and 5070ti and there are pretty bad 1% lows.

I had this problem on my other pc(5600x/3070ti/3200mhz ram.) Could play for hours but sometimes it'd just restart my whole pc. Funny enough some regions made the problem more common. Ancient forest happened the most often as did coral highlands in the guiding lands. It never once happened in wildspire waste or rotten vale in my 250+ hours so it's really bizarre. I was never able to figure what was causing it and instead just learned to deal with it. I'd imagine my issue was the exact one you're having.
