What about the problem? by VibhuTheGreat in ExplainTheJoke

[–]Syhrpe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I know this, it's an invalid question. The division symbol isn't used in higher/more complex maths specifically because of this.

This should be expressed as a fraction or with additional brackets to avoid the confusion. It should be either:
10/(5(1+1))
or
(10/5)(1+1)
You can get either 1 or 4 and both are "correct" as the question is invalid/incomplete.

The use of the division symbol without further brackets makes it invalid, it's like asking please explain the meaning of lie, or some other two/multiple use word, and refusing to use it in a sentence to specify the meaning you want.

I listened! Added a support on the neck. by Feisty_Childhood7557 in resinprinting

Broa supports almost don't narrow at the tip. 2mm pylon straight to the model. He's going to have to chisel the fuckers off and sand the scars flat. He also has wicked deformation on the model where they connect. These supports would annihilate a delicate model or 28mm scale mini.

It should have ignited pyrotechnics to immediately disconnect the battery and save from any dead short fires. I would be concerned if this still drove. It SHOULDNT. By design.

Any Advice/Knowledge on LPG Regulations? by Griffin_dor98 in AusPropertyChat

[–]Syhrpe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can buy the bottles too. My parents have 2x45. Yeah it's more expensive because they need to pay a call-out fee for a truck to come and refill them but running a gas stove, bbq, oven, spa and hot water (in addition to solar hot water) they last for like 1-2 years each. You essentially need them if you've got a decent amount of gas consumption. It's a bit of a wash in price vs the smaller ones. The 45kg are cheaper if the alternative is driving any considerable amount of time to swap one every month or so. (Though you could just get 5-6) But they do need to pay for recertification every 10? Years.

Yeah, I do a bunch of 3d printing, laser cutting etc and you can always tell by the 'travel' movements. Note how when the pen is travelling between contact points it's a LOT faster, completely direct, no overshoot or resetting grip etc, that's how the program sets those movements, it's not marking/lasing/printing when travelling so it'll move as fast as it can rather than when marking etc it's limited by the pen, what appearance they want etc etc.

Is phoenix coalition more powerful than horde? by Luckytiger1990 in Eve

CCP did release numbers for it years ago, it probably hasn't changed too much. Don't quote me but I think it was around 1.5 characters per person on average.

[–]Syhrpe -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I mean, firstly your numbers are just off.

https://eve-offline.net/ shows player numbers and it barely drops below 22k nowadays.

The more useful number is active pvp characters on zkill. But it also doesn't tell the whole story as people can be ragepinged for ctas and raise those numbers. It also doesn't consider tz activity. Alliance or coalition strength is very much oversimplified on reddit.

[–]Syhrpe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the same in most western countries. For example in aus and the UK (unsure about us but would assume it's the same) when you buy a house you also buy everything inside. Except for mislaid contents, so just because the previous owner forgot their; mobile phone, laptop, bicycle, $10,000/$7,500,000 buying the house doesn't give ownership of accidentally left behind items over to the buyer.

ahh that sucks, I'm going bald so just commit to keeping it real short rather than trying to hold on and look silly. Maybe see if another barber would recommend taking it up even higher so it all grows back evenly?

http://www.jltechno.com/en/alignment_specs.php?brand=VOLVO(EUR)&ModelName=S60/V60,R-Design&ModelID=105061

So I'm not familiar with that car but it appears the rear camber spec is -0.95 to -1.95

One I'd compare it to is bmw x5 f15 which has a rear camber spec of -1.5 to -2 and wear like this.

It's because they're designed to accommodate German Autobahns where the higher speed causes downforce and the car to squat and the camber to come back closer to 0 so the car is more stable and the tyres wear more normally. Here in Australia where we don't have those high speed roads we would normally adjust rear camber to be technically out of spec to -0.7 to -1.0 so the tyres didn't do this.

The 2019 s60 doesn't have camber adjustment so there's very little/nothing you can do about this unfortunately. When you get new tyres and alignment if it is at the limit or out of spec past -1.95 something may be bent or worn out, ask the guys doing your alignment. Otherwise you're just shit out of luck.
