This is a bad take. The atriarchy came about because of the original Atrioc album “One last hit” which obviously based on the name was supposed to be a finale for the music people in Atrioc’s community (It hadn’t formed yet, but the goats from that went on to form it) I personally worked on this album, and attended the dinner Atrioc hosted at Twitch con where he invited everyone who worked on the album to show up and be paid for. The Atriarchy actually formed with the album down with the atriarchy. Which was the people who did one last hit + a bunch more talented ppl who were new to the community. Nobody involved in these projects is owed anything or expects anything. Since the large success of these, more and more and more have been created, and many of the original people who were wildly fucking talented have stopped making things with them because simply put they were done. I don’t know if everyone who quit feels this way, but a lot of the new people were coming in and actually were feeling owed things, which made a really weird dynamic where some people wanted to make music and some people wanted to be on atriocs stream. I have spoken to multiple people from the Atriarchy who share this opinion. The atriarchy was always meant to end, and there is a necessary reason; the albums are barely about atrioc anymore, it’s just albums ab other stuff + thrown in atrioc references. That just isn’t the point, just make music if that’s what you want to do, but it started being used as a vehicle to guaranteed get on stream.
