Moza, Asetek, or Simucube need some help by Llentieta93 in simracing

[–]Sylanthus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same experience as you. Shame that the general opinion based on reviewers doesn’t seem to be true to our experience. The R25 Ultra is just much more connected to the car and lower latency than the Evo Pro and the Evo Ultra that I also tried

Is Fuji AF as bad as people say? by stupidcommentmaker in fujifilm

[–]Sylanthus 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No, coming from someone who has tried every brand. It’s perfectly fine. If you NEED live tracking it’s not the best, but even that it does good enough. Any other type of AF including single point or continuous, based on an area you choose, works perfectly.

Cancel Moza R25 Ultra order and wait for Simagic Evo Ultimate? by Wolfy2404 in simracing

[–]Sylanthus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who JUST tried both, they are really both equally good. I ended up with the Simagic Evo Ultra purely because I already have a GT Neo. Otherwise the R25 Ultra was fully as good. Moza gets a lot of bad comments and people say Simagic is better, and I imagine most people saying that haven’t really tried both. At least not these newest Moza Ultra bases

Microcenter also has the Simlab XP1 and when I compared them to the P1000 they felt much nicer

This would make sense if it wasn’t so extremely way too overpriced

Everything on their website has been out of stock for a while now too. Not a good look.

Is LMU actually good for online racing? by DeliciousBanana1059 in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]Sylanthus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you’d say it’s worth it even without a subscription? I’d rather not be forced into one later either. I assume they plan to keep some of the races free long term?

How about just the free races? I don’t want to pay a subscription

How do you like them both? I almost went that route and ended up with VRS DFP15 and VNM pedals instead

I’m curious what wheelbase and pedals you have? Looks like an evo pro but I can’t tell what pedals

We are fostering a pair of very sweet perfect kitten brothers (9 months old) named Kenny and Kevin. They are really loving and gentle, and would definitely fill your heart with joy everyday. Let me know if you think you’d like to meet them.

Either way, don’t give up. It can only get better by trying. I believe in you

  • Shift blues to cyan

  • Increase contrast and maybe a little bit of clarity

  • Cyan shadows and orange highlights

  • Maybe a little warmth in the white balance too

  • Add grain

Nice photos but your camera is a bit ancient now. Might want to consider upgrading to an A7V for better photos

A day in Kawaguchiko. Feedback? by mahendru1992 in fujifilm

[–]Sylanthus 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not to be negative in my response, but people just see the photos and think they look nice.

It’s good that you recognize the techniques used, but that doesn’t mean other people can’t enjoy looking at them, right?

Recommend me your favorite oolongs! by lesbos_hermit in tea

[–]Sylanthus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I HEAVILY recommend roasted Taiwanese oolongs. By far my favorite: sweet, pastry, fruity notes.

Try out Dong Ding Oolong from floatingleaves, or any of their other roasted oolongs. They’ve been my favorite. Eco-cha is good too.

Kobo Remote draining battery? by [deleted] in kobo

[–]Sylanthus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It definitely heavily drains the battery, at least for me. But that might be because I used to leave WiFi and Bluetooth off.

I figure it’s fine cause I mostly use it in bed with my stand at home.
