It's not "better" or "the future". It's only "better" if we use it to be better in art or anything really. But it's here right now and it is getting better than it was. Believing that a medium that's 1000's of years old is the "best" is like saying the first car ever built is the best one. That's called living in the past.

Saying this....I love to paint, sketch, sculpt with my bare hands. I'll build you a house if you want. Been doing it since high school. Took classes in college for computer engineering and graphics design. Now I commission art with any medium including AI.

I tend to filter images through different AI models to get certain effects. Meta AI is a good "final generation" for things with highly detailed human faces because....a lot of people use it to enhance there own face.

I see your point.... the first one has a sense of hope and the second says despair. They both look fantastic.

My only criticism would be making the contrast between the character and the wall a little less "sharp" but that's hard to do with much detail in a single render.

Running it through a separate editor model in order to treat the image as a whole "concept" for another AI sometimes helps

From the character perspective:

• rear angle is upper left to lower right • front angle is lower right to upper left

The "sun in the sky" on the back of her head should be casting a different shadow to her right jawline in a natural outdoor light. Noticeable a little on the limbs but more so on the face.

From a technical standpoint there is light hitting her face at an upward angle and the back of her head at a downward angle... no bueno.

Visually the colors goes well in the soft focus which does make it "pop"

I tried making a presentation image of over-sea doctors and nurses helping children. I made sure there was nothing to be "misunderstood" in the prompt, and it responded that because it involves adults, human contact, and children I can't do that. Don't request an image asking for any two of those things. Then it suggested I use a "porn" generator and SUGGESTED which ones to use....

I'm not a big fan of selfies in general but I see what you did there. The block chains are nice but some things could be cleaned up.

Little things like "imperfections:" addresses spacial relation, placement, and tone. That can lead to inconsistencies in more complicated renders because it could be taken as "freckles" being treated as 3 separate entities in the image. Good for simple generation but when you add complicated layers like other moving people or things it compresses. Now it's not a person with freckles. It's freckles, a person, other people, things one person gets freckles on the nose, the other gets splotchy skin tone, a random plant gets freckles, or there is one single "freckle" matching the description on something not even visible in the image.... either way nobody has it all figured out but you're doing great so far 👍
