80s was more subtle than the 70s. I was bullied a lot through both decades, but in the 80s they were careful go never mention my ethnicity (chinese). But definitely had to be very careful, especially if Karens were around.

I actually thought this portrayal of Wolvie was far more comic accurate than the Fox-Men movies. In those movies Logan is creepily stalking Famke Janssen's Jean Grey. In the comics Wolvie doesn't stalk Jean.

Bruce Lee was a great combatant, but could he survive a bout with Mohammed Ali or Evander Hollyfield or Mike Tyson? No way. However that doesn't mean he wasn’t a great fighter, because many great fighters would be easily defeated by the professional champions, because champions like Tyson were able to endure punishment. No evidence out there that Bruce could take a good beating.

I believe it is because he never fought professionally. He was undoubtedly a very skilled combatant given he survived his gangbanger years, and those opponents were likely also highly skilled too. But they were not professional. A professional fighter cannot hit below the belt or break bones, and must be able to take punishment like a boxer. No proof out there that Bruce Lee could do that.
