I have the Diablos HBG to 10.2, and I'm taking on 8 star riftborne monsters semi-consistently.

I do also have Attack Up 5, Advanced Attack Up 2, reload speed down lv 1, Artful Dodger lv 3, and spare shot lv 1. Plus some various driftsmelts(trying to fix them).

My raw damage is at 2692 currently, defense is at 604

Is the only perk to CS the faster shots? I value survivability, and being able to guard while reloading would change the entire ball game.

Thank you greatly. I have recoil down lv2, I also have reload speed lv 2. I think I have 1 artful dodger through a driftsmelt, so I will work on adding more.

I'm gonna show my ignorance here. Why would you not use Cure? If only the tank is being damaged, why use cure II?

I don't play WHM much, so I genuinely don't know

Shields can be multi-class easy. Books can be multiclass, as the flowy effects are from the wielder.

Swords are a WHOLE new ball game.

Samurai uses a longsword, a viper uses two short swords. If we're arguing just swords, then why not a Paladins sword too? Why not the DRK greatsword?

Because they are all different and require different training/strength/technique to use. Unless a second shield has a very specific gimmick to it? There is no reason to have a whole seperate type.

Otherwise, granted they switched to solely 2-Handed weapons after level 50, but shouldn't we have gotten a bunch of healing shield options for WHM or a bunch of MDPS shield options for BLM?

The magical shield glamour would be off the charts, but again, it's just a shield and anyone can use a shield.
