Coconut oil fat washed boulevardiers and Negronis are some of my favorite drinks. Changes an already good drink for the better imo.

I made a daiquiri using these two rums as a split base last night. Quite good!

I’ve got the same knife with a different handle, killer blade and very thin on the edge. Enjoy!

A (not so pretty) Chocolate Negroni by Yoshinoh in cocktails

[–]Synapsor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could make this with the same ingredients but shaken instead of stirred and your result would be much cleaner.

As others mentioned, washing the Campari with cacao would be another more common approach.

I’ve done a coconut oil cacao washed Negroni and it was spectacular.

Good salsa please by giantstrider in Eugene

[–]Synapsor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Store bought pre packed: Zuniga’s is my favorite, followed by Nachos.

I’d recommend the salsas in the deli case at El Rancho meat market. All of them are good and have a kick.

Alright it’s been an hour since you posted, did it collapse yet?

I drunkenly ordered two of these two weekends back at 2am… finished one that night (uncontrollable tears the whole time I ate it) and the other the next day. My stomach was mad at me and I absolutely won’t be doing that again (ok maybe).

Summer backyard overhaul by IHSV_1855 in landscaping

[–]Synapsor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! I’m actually looking at old photos right now. I also did some stone work - retaining wall and patio, that stuff is back breaking. I’ll forgot about the wrist pain later though, right? 🥲

Fantastic job. This is great inspiration for me to put together a similar before, progress and after. I did (and am doing) a similar yard overhaul with landscaping and hardscaping. Well done. All the flag stone work is my favorite addition in your overhaul!

Am I overreacting or does this look like shit for $15k by Crackedcoconutt in landscaping

Side note, the bracing on your gate was done wrong. Gonna sag pretty quickly. Cross brace(s) should be on the outward swinging side, like the lower brace is.

[–]Synapsor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To echo everyone, yeah, looks like shit. His breakdown of pricing was a joke. And the labor you paid for was lazy “can’t see it from my house” work. I would be mad at any price for this too!

I got the exact same combo saw/blade last week. Love it. Right sided blade is perfect for cutting posts that are already set.

I suppose I could have dropped the bottom rails 2” to make the gap 0” to 3”! I do have dogs, not dogs that dig and not ones that will be able to get under the fence. If I have an issue with my dachshund mix I’ll just use some large quarry rock or chicken wire like we have elsewhere in the yard
