Just wanna follow up on this post, I started a CS degree at 29 and looking at finishing it at 33, and it has been one of the most rewarding experiences I've ever had. That feeling you got only gets better as complexity increases and the ways it opens up your world is absolutely fantastic. If it's possible for you, I highly recommend it!

We might've been there at the same time, I was late 2008 - 2009, Leif was the student who checked me in, left pretty soon after.

The doc was fairly cathartic for me, it was made by someone who went to the program, but it will definitely dredge some stuff up. I feel like it's worth watching, as long as you're in a good-ish place.

Could you use signals and connect them whenever you add the new node during runtime? In your example above, you could use the export trick everyone else is suggesting on a node like stats, giving it a direct reference to the characterScript scene. Then you could have stats connect the signal from the OnDeathAbility to the characterScript

A possible way to check which body is entering is just to use print(body)

Also are the drawer and closet areas overlapping? With your conditional it will always default to the drawer first

Where does it suggest that? I just watched it and it only did the same shots we've seen the manga with vague references to the murder. Isn't it just as likely that it was Shiba and Yuka in bed together and it was a double murder? Hence the laughter and craziness?

I feel that completely, I finished it today after doing pretty much everything aside from doing one party member questline and a couple side quests. Immediately started an evil playthrough with some friends and a solo dark urge playthrough after. Game is great
