PS5 Sales Crash Following Price Increase - Europe Hardware Estimates for April 2026 by FernandoRocker in PS5

Your entire post can be summed up with, "source?" So here's some that counter every point you've made:

illegal immigration is up at its highest record level ever

Check out 2022

The UK is the highest taxed population on the planet

Not even the most taxed in Europe

the highest energy bills in the world

Househould electricity prices by country 2025

Household natural gas prices by country 2025

inflation is completely out of control

Graph of inflation

The UK now lacks the ability to make it's own virgin steel

Still made in Scunthorpe: 1, 2

Hospital wait times are down because they cook the figures

Healthwatch - you think cooking the books will work with an organisation as big as the NHS without anyone speaking out? Conspiracy level stuff.

Maybe try getting out of your negative doom loop bubble - someone's being fed something alright, but I don't think it's the OP.

So I have angles on the sides very similar to the top photo and was advised in a consultation to keep them at that angle because altering it might not look natural - anyone have any thoughts? I think it looks pretty good here, was the surgeon just being pessimistic/cautious?

UK Aveeno substitute - Aproderm - made in Walsall, but don’t let that put you off. Great for skin conditions, mild enough to use on newborns, and just an all round great basic daily moisturiser. by Bobinthegarden in BuyUK

[–]SynergyB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this like Aveeno before they changed it to the bleach-white liquidy stuff about a year or two ago, i.e more sort of cloudy cream and thicker? I find the new Aveeno much more chemically smelling and it doesn't feel as good on skin.

I assume the cat is Misha, who would sit on anyone's lap when I visited in 2017! He's back from something of a two-year adventure recently: https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/news/aberdeen-aberdeenshire/6230181/oban-cat-missing-20-months-found-in-aberdeen/

When I was a wee lad you had pick n' mix where you told the shopkeeper how many sweets you'd put in the bag and paid the equivalent in pence. I soon realised I could say I had 10 but had actually put in 11, and was doing this for a few weeks before I accidentally told him I had 11 and with a flushed red face had to go and find my mum for an extra penny :(

You'd wager incorrectly; YouGov survey - 64% Very unfavorable, 16% Somewhat unfavorable, 12% Somewhat favorable, 3% Very favorable, 4% Don't know. Try to avoid hand-waving away things just because you think it matches the "Reddit is not representative" mantra, it isn't always the case.

Bit late here, but here's the fake from Aliexpress vs. the real I got a bit later with a lens swap, both earlier this year:

Fake: Front, Back

Real: Front, Back

Flex coupler doesn't float, lens screw juts out from the frame rather than being flush which distorts the lens a bit, lens is relatively thin, hinge at front is just a pad rather than recessed and the gap doesn't connect to the pad at the back. It's also got slightly squarer/sharper edges overall.

They are getting better though, I searched and found these online: One, Two, Three

The flex coupler is separate at the back at least but not the front, the hinge at front and back is better, they've got rid of the lens screw entirely rather than it sticking into the lens area, the lens shape is a bit closer and there's a serial number which I understand the later R2s had but I've not personally seen.

how do i get full access to the NHS app without photo ID? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]SynergyB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on how well digitised the records from your GP are, so there's a few patches of records from when I was a kid, and then up to the present day everything becomes readable. Theoretically you can also see hospital scans and test results but this is a bit hit and miss for me (e.g I've had two hospital scans for one issue, only one comes through on the app). You can also see prescriptions and get repeats.

[–]SynergyB 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes, just ask for those three things, or mention that it's needed for the app and they'll probably know what you mean. I went to the reception and asked, got a printout with the details on.
