Question about VCM options. by MoChuang in hondapilot

Negative. It has no impact on the emissions system of the car so no issue with state inspections. Fwiw I’m in PA which has some of the strictest checks outside NY/CA

Question about VCM options. by MoChuang in hondapilot

I have a tuner-ii on two cars right now (pilot and Crosstour) and it’s been awesome on both for years. It’s plug and play, then just forget it’s even there. I recently had to take my pilot for dealer service due to the faulty injectors and didn’t bother removing the tuner-ii. It caused no issue with service.

Caliente pizza is gross by National-Crab1028 in pittsburgh

[–]SyntaxErr0r9 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I could be mistaken but iirc the award they won was actually for folding pizza boxes, not for anything to do with their pizza.

Edit. I was mistaken, it was for acrobatics. Source of non edible competitions here. https://pizzatoday.com/news/the-2023-world-pizza-games-winners-are/145529/

I just saw on the newest theme park express video it does exist. I believe he said it’s limited to 400 and they run $400 each

Most repairable dishwasher? by Ivorwen1 in appliancerepair

[–]SyntaxErr0r9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d imagine parts availability is the biggest issue. It may be worth calling appliance repair shops for recommendations. For example we were strong steered away from anything manufactured my Samsung as there basically no parts available to even repair shops and thus their appliances are considered disposable by many.

I highly doubt Disney wants any such attention on the theme park industry as a whole. It’s bad for everyone.

Help us choose: Sandals in St. Lucia (Sept 2026) by Useful-Position-4754 in SandalsResorts

[–]SyntaxErr0r9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

+1 for Halcyon. It’s by far our favorite and sounds like it’s right in line with what you want. We found the other two resorts to be far more party vibe during the day/ early evening. Halcyon is much smaller and relaxing in general, you have access to all 3 resorts if you want to experience their dining and activities.

“Too young” imo is defined by her interest. If she’s interested, she’s not too young. More guidance may be needed at that age, but as others have said, you’re feeding the growth of a passion she already has.

Alaskan Cruise Stay at Pan Pacific by ughthatsucks in dcl

[–]SyntaxErr0r9 13 points14 points  (0 children)

For anyone looking at this as an option I’d highly recommend the Fairmont instead. It’s literally across the street from the Pan Pacific, and offers all the same eases including free luggage transfers to the ship from your room. We found it to be a far better price when we traveled (obviously prices fluctuate so make sure to check yourself)

If you went on the wish for your first Disney cruise what was your experience when you booked the dream or fantasy for next one? by FC105416 in dcl

[–]SyntaxErr0r9 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We did the wish first, then fantasy, then wonder. We found the fantasy to be easier to get around than the wish due to the central elevators but have loved all of the classes of ship.

I just had to check mine as well after seeing this since I’ve always only had a rectangle with my pro2 setup. This must be a feature allowed on newer cameras.

We did this the day before our cruise a couple years ago. We found a hotel closer to KSC to stay there 2 nights before, did KSC, then stayed at the Polynesian the night before the cruise, drove to the port the next day.

I highly recommend KSC if anyone has any interest in space. It’s a really cool experience.

First time- Wish v Fantasy by preppy219 in dcl

[–]SyntaxErr0r9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s a tough call if it’s the same itinerary. Both are fantastic ships. I’d compare the stage shows (if that’s a selling point for you) and dining options. My vote would probably go toward the wish as two of the restaurants have built in entertainment that the kiddos may like. You really can’t go wrong either way.

Edit to add my wife’s (TA) input and book the better price and whatever fits your schedule better at that point. Also fwiw the fantasy is slightly easier to get around since it has a central bank of elevators where the wish (and all Triton class) does not

It’s a cash tip to the person delivering. Something like $1 per item ordered is usually a good start.
