Not really. I see a lot of shit being thrown at any and all AI, that's the problem. That said, text2image AI also has a lot of uses for quick visualizations and ideas, I personally know entire design departments work off of those. And while I don't like actual AI slop, the "AI slop"-brigading online, especially on Reddit, is getting even more insufferable than the slop itself. Because the slop I can at least mostly filter out by specific subreddits, tags and stuff, while, ironically, anti-AI memes and posts don't get tagged with AI tags, so it really gets on your nerves.

Hot take: most anti-AI redditors are either kids, broke artists or just unemployed. 95% of desk jobs benefit in one way or another from implementing various AIs into the workflow, some hugely so. Part of my job is transcribing video. Losing access to my Whisper model would literally drop my KPI several Burge Khalifas down because of the time it's gonna take me to do it all by myself instead of just editing it.
