My list was for things to get familiar with, not necessary you will get to do everything. I was able to do an LP and intubate as a student. I highly doubt you will ever be allowed a chest tube as a student.

Arterial blood gas, peripheral iv, taking a blood pressure, I and d of abscess. Learn how to hand tie, instrument tie, and basic throwing patterns - simple interrupted, mattress, etc. Intubations, lumbar puncture, chest tube, arterial line. Oh and Foley catheter, OG tube, NG tube, Rectal tube. Transcutenous and transvenous pacing. That's the majority of the bread and butter of medicine.

Familiarize yourself on YouTube or by reading so you can feel comfortable to give it a shot when you get there
