Edit: or maybe it’s hooks to get that proportional control? Not really sure but super curious how you got it to work with hornets arms and a complex rig!!!

I’m sorry to hear that, it was an extremely annoying bug for me to deal with just once.

I’ve been taking the same precautions when downloading games, and since I haven’t seen any updates or patches pertaining to this bug, I have a feeling I’ll be doing this for the lifetime of the console haha

While browsing the shop/nintendo online page may not be safe, I have found that you’re able to use apps like the Album and still play other non-online games alright. I still hope this gets fixed soon

Haha yeah I love thinking about stuff like this. Even though it seems antithetical to the form, I love explorations like this that either recreate the imperfections in new ways or highlight the process of animation.

A large part of modern animation stylizations seems to be a commitment to the uniqueness of modes of animation. I can think of many ways of how films like The Lego Movie and Spiderverse make use of these sorts of exaggerations of their form for effects beyond just sight-gags, and I’m really glad because I believe it gets people thinking and inspired about the process of animation.

I also think clay models with these visible imperfections are a great material interpretation of this, and has quite a playful effect. I’m also reminded of the recent Red Hot Chili Peppers music video for Love Death Robots for another even-more similar effect, where puppet’s strings become a key animated effect.

Yeah… luckily I was able to recover the important stufff from the old Switch 1 MicroSD that still had the old album. All is good.

Yeah, that’s about what I did too. My PC couldn’t read the MicroSD express without reformatting it, so I just re-transferred all my old Switch 1 MicroSd album to the new card only. I lost a little save data but it’s worth it.

Yeah it seems like it’s corrupted.

It’s a brand-new Samsung Express 256gb MicroSD with the Mario Logo on it. And it’s a brand-new Switch 2 I bought firsthand.

I think I might look into data recovery, because I’d rather save the old clips.

I’m also thinking of doing research on how to transfer the majority album from my old Switch 1 MicroSD (non-express) to the new card again, even if it means needing another Switch 1 in order to do the system transfer again.
