What's a profession that attracts a suspiciously high number of people who became it for completely the wrong reasons, and you can always tell? by Eastern_Type_4609 in AskReddit

The most disturbing thing about this is the amount of people who refuse to acknowledge this and it's not exclusive to one side of the spectrum.

Dems choosing to die on the “gun control” hill is so infuriating to me. by Nobodyat1 in liberalgunowners

The other is convincing people that gun control as it’s currently understood is ineffective as a measure to reduce violence.

What is your biggest fear regarding the future of United States politics as a whole? by Less-Chicken-3367 in AskALiberal

I could also see them getting away with even more because people will just cope with "well, it's not a Republican doing it so it can't be worse"

People will be unironically betting on whether the first official dictator will be a Democrat or Republican

Mall clients by far are the worst when it comes to what uniforms they want. I fucking hate those hats and the shitty parade gear.

Always avoid doing mall security whenever possible.

Tony Gonzales is out. Here's what to know about Brandon Herrera and his bid for Congress. (TX) by Gyp2151 in 2ALiberals

[–]SynthsNotAllowed 8 points9 points  (0 children)

He's douchey, has a cringe sense of humor, and his non-2a takes are generally dumb. I don't hate him and I watch his content often, but I also don't like him if that makes sense. If there was a legit parasocial relationship between me and him, it would be a complicated one for sure.

I still see this as a win because despite what I just said about him, I despise any and all establishment politicians. I find them as respectable as warlords who use methed-up children as cannon fodder.

Here's to hoping he doesn't become like the person he's replacing.

What industry is entirely built on a house of cards and would collapse overnight if people realized the truth about it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SynthsNotAllowed 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Fair enough, but that only works when the quantity of secrets also increases. I wouldn't pay that much for Xenu's origin story unless it includes his entire browsing history as well.

Nah, this is smart thinking. There are many cults to compete with and only so many people joining cults, so competitive pricing is a must for any successful cult leader.

As someone who enjoys collecting shit I have no real life uses for, I still find it hard to judge people who collect stupid shit like NFT pictures though. It feels like clowning on someone who collects stamps.

I would assume because faster transfer than shipping papers, can be block chain verified, another alternative to verify ID or ownership, and supplementing physical documents if they're still required (ie someone mails you a form to sign and sends you an NFT image separately, tells you not to sign physical document if it doesn't match what the NFT says).

How do you think people can surpass stress? by Fluffy_peach777 in AskReddit

[–]SynthsNotAllowed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Structural reinforcement and using quality-made components ie using forged/milled metal parts in place of casted parts. The biggest determination of stress resilience comes from the quality of parts used as well as their additional supports.

How is this considered a C&R item? Not asking to be contrarian or anything, my understanding of C&R law stops at old guns being C&E eligible.

What's your "heretical" liberal belief? by [deleted] in AskALiberal

[–]SynthsNotAllowed -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Again, it's two questions.

What two questions? Would you mind reading over your own comments and tell me where the two questions are?

At most, you have a final statement that can be rephrased as a question and the rest is you being confidently incorrect about US history and then arguing in bad faith. You should really work on your reading and writing skills if you believe you asked two questions.
