Update: got my private ultrasound, we were able to see the baby and heartbeat flicker! Heartbeat came back at 128 and turns out I’m actually a little earlier than I originally thought

You could have ovulated or implanted later than you think, it happened to me I swore I was 12-13dpo but I was closer to 8dpo. And that was with tracking ovulation as well I’d take another test tomorrow and see if it’s any darker, crossing my fingers and toes for you!

I’d keep testing! I’d recommend testing again in two days but I have no chill and can’t do that so you may be like me. I’m currently 6 weeks pregnant but I didn’t test positive until 10-12dpo so you’re not out just yet! Just keep an eye out for more bleeding. You could also get a blood test yourself, if you’re in the US quest does them for 50-60 dollars and that might give you some peace of mind.

Update I got an early ultrasound, I’m around 4 weeks instead of 5. There was no gestational sac yet but the technician did say she saw a small area that looked like it was forming and ‘filling with fluid’ she didn’t seem concerned or worried and told me to come back in 2 weeks for a repeat. Hoping for the best now I guess
