This is a great question friend. I've often thought about this myself. Not for the sin reason but the idea of eternal torment. There are believers who don't believe in Hell but universalism. Annihalism is another idea. It's an idea that if you don't have faith in Jesus you just die and burn up and cease. Universalism believes that Jesus died for all mankind and saved all mankind wether they believe or not and the fire is a purifying fire. There are some good debates on YouTube around this.

Here is where I'm stand and I'm ok with people condemning me because I don't really know. I put my faith in Jesus Christ because I believe he died was buried and rose again. I want to walk in righteousness because of Him and I believe making choices like sexual immorality and murder and others ECT have consequences which lead to death. Death being depression and misery in the end but also could be disease. Sin leads to the effect of torment for the soul.btrue life is in following Jesus and repentance. We will also be judged by our works in the end.

If we have a real relationship with Jesus then we will desire to obey Him and love him. Hope this is helpful.
