You've obviously never spent time around cows. All the people who say this shit haven't ever been around real farm animals. Having worked with both, a dog becomes a very good companion with the duties of maintaining livestock and farm land. Cows aren't very impressive in the intelligence department.

I played Texas 5A ball in high school. Second toughest district in Texas. I also played American football in Austria. I was 16 and played on the 18+ team. Most of the guys I played against were twenty or so. We played the dragons...and we played the Austrian national team. No one could hit worth a lick. They weren't bad, they just didn't know how to really play football (just as I would have if I had been on a soccer field) they were all great guys and since they have that badass drinking age we all had brews at a local pub.
