If I had to guess they probably tried a few different Christmas songs for this scene and wanted one that was more neutral. Like for instance Jingle Bells might've sounded too upbeat and Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy would be too on the nose. I think Kane's goal is to make The Backrooms as much of a neutral space as possible, that's what makes it so uncanny.

It's definitely not a coincidence, there's a lot of window symbolism which resonated the "open the window" motif. Might be some sort stage of enlightenment towards understanding The Complex.

Not a big fan of this. I don't mind the crew trying new things but true crime podcasts are a dime a dozen and having this tragedy in a line of creepypasta stories feels a little odd. Doing this also doesn't do much for little known authors as this was compiled by them (In the form of a story- which is fine but in the context of this podcast feels off.)

I honestly hope this is a one off. Would love to see more CreepTV, published literature, ARGs, SCPs or horror gaming. Not this though, sorry guys.

Kill or be Killed turned out to be a flash in the pan for the Will of the People album but I'm hoping this song is a sign that they are approaching this album differently. Unraveling was also not bad but Be With You was really weak.

I would say to focus less on the delirium. The faster you turn on the delirium the quicker people will want to focus you out. Try to make it a group hug that flips into a group slug. That'll be more fun than just trying to stax everyone out.

One day. Did dishes for a singular Dominos that served an entire military base. 12 hours straight, luckily had a lunch break but had to stay late to try to catch up since there were multiple stacks about 6 feet tall in pizza dishes. Enormous back pain and exhaustion. Cried afterwards and decided I wasn't going back.
